China Glaze - Island Escape

Vad tycker ni om China Glaze sommarkollektion Island Escape? Jag tycker alla färgerna var fina men blev mest sugen på att testa Papaya Punch, Cha Cha Cha och Electric Pineapple för de kändes lite roligare.

Kollektionen lanseras vecka 25 och rekommenderat pris är 98 kr. Kommer att finnas till försäljning på bl.a. Kicks och Eleven.se.

What do you think about the China Glaze summer collection 2011- Island Escape? I like all colors but the once I would like to try the most are Papaya Punch, Cha Cha Cha and Electric Pineapple cause I think they look the most fun.

CoreCosmetic

Fick ett mail om att CoreCosmetic som säljer mineralmakeup nu finns på den Europeiska marknaden. Deras produkter innehåller inte några kemiska tillsatser så som syntetiska parabener, talk eller Bismuth Oxychloride och deras foundation finns i hela 18 olika nyanser så har du inte lyckats hitta en mineral foundation som passar just din hudfärg så kan det nog vara värt att kika in CoreCosmetics.

Själv tycker jag att ögonskuggorna och glittren ser riktigt fina ut. Någon som har testa detta märke?

Got an e-mail that the mineral makeup brand CoreCosmetic has opened on the European market. Their product doesn't contain any chemical ingredients like parabens, talc or Bismuth Oxychloride and their foundations can be found in 18 different nuances so if you haven't found a suitable color in an mineral foundation it might be a good idea to check out CoreCosmetic.

I think that the eye shadows and the glitters looks really nice. Anyone tried this brand?

Your Royal Shine-ness från OPI är superblank och därför rätt svår att fotografera. Jag är dock helt kär i den här superblanka lite glittriga silverfärgen och det här lacket kommer absolut användas fler gånger. Jag har använt två lager av lacket för att få det riktigt täckande, det fungerar dock rätt bra även med bara ett lager. Lacket höll bättre än något annat lack jag testat efter en vecka såg det ut precis så som när jag precis målat det, då hade jag dock hunnit tröttna på färgen för den här gången och tog bort det så jag vet faktiskt inte hur länge det skulle ha suttit om jag inte tagit bort det?

Servin up sparkle (också från OPI)är ett genomskinligt lack med glitter i. När man använder det i kombination med Your Royal shine-ness så blev det lite mer party över det hela. Tyvärr så var det lite svårt att få bort de stora glitter flagorna i Servin up sparkle när det var dags att ta bort lacket. Min NailTwist tog inte alls, resten av lacket lossnade men de stora glittren satt kvar. Försvann dock rätt lätt när jag testade en annan remover. 

De här två lacken säljs i ett kit om två och det rekommenderade priset är 250 kr. Kommer att finnas i butk från och med mitten av juli.

Kommer absolut att använda Your Royal Shin-ness igen men jag tycker faktiskt det är finare ensamt än i kombination med Servin up sparkle.

Your Royal Shine-ness from OPI is a ultra blank nail polish and therefor a little bit hard to photograph well. I fell in love with this super shiny silver nail polish with some shimmer in it. I used to layers of it to get a really nice coverage but it would work to only paint one layer. This nail polish looked the same as when I just painted it on after a whole week, no flaking of any kind. I actually removed it cause I had gotten tired of it for this time so I don't know how long it would have stayed on if I hadn't gotten tired of it?

Servin up Sparkle (also from OPI) is a clear nail polish with glitters in it. When used in combination with Your Royal Shine-ness you get some really great party nails. Unfortunately Servin up Sparkle was a little bit hard to get off. The nail polish it self was no problem to get off but the big glitter flakes stayed on, my NaillTwist couldn't get them off. When I tried a different remover it got off just fine though.

The two polishes will be sold in a kit with both polishes in it and will be available in stores from the middle of July.

I will absolutely use Your Royal Shine-ness again but I actually like it better alone than in combination with Servin up sparkle.

Last weekend we bought new down blankets and pillows for our bed and then we decided to buy new curtains, new bedspread and some new pillows too. What do you think is it an improvement?

OPI:s höst- och vinterkollektion Touring America collection beskrivs som en kollektion som tar fram det klassiska Amerika med en aning skimmer, glöd och glamour. Lacken kommer att finnas i butik från och med mitten av augusti och kostar 150 kr st.

 

Kollektionen består av tolv lack i eleganta färger och namn som för tanken till en road-trip genom USA. Kul att kollektionen även innehåller en del färger som man kanske annars främst kopplar samman med sommar så som korall.

Självklart kommer ni att få se swatches så fort jag hunnit testa lacken. Hojta till om det är något speciellt lack som ni vill att jag testar först.

OPI's fall and winter collection is described as an collection that brings out the classic America with an hint of shimmer, glow and of course glamour. You will find the collection in stores around Sweden from the middle of August.

OPI Touring America collection contains twelve elegant colors and the names let your thoughts wonder to an road-trip around the US. I think it's nice that the collection also contains some colors that are mostly connected to summer, such as corals. 

I will show you swatches of the polishes as soon as I have had a chance to try them. Let me know if there is any particular color that you would like to see first.

Pressvisning OPI Touring America

Igår var jag på pressvisningen av OPI:s höst- och vinterkollektion Touring America som hölls på  TGI Fridays. Temat var Amerika och folket från OPI var härligt 50-tals klädda. Det bjöds på en presentation av kollektionen och man kunde få sina naglar målad. Jag valde färgen I Eat Mainly lobster. Det bjöds även på plockmat och dryck och alla fick med sig en otroligt söt goodiebag hem.

Yesterday I was at the launch of OPI's fall/winter collection Touring America at TGI Fridays. The team of the event was America and the people from OPI was dressed in clothes inspired from the 1950. The collection was presented and you could get your nails painted. I choosed the color I Eat Mainly Lobsters. They served fingerfood and drinks and everyone got a cute goodiebag.

Läggdags

Bilder från OPI eventet kommer imorgon. Blev en middag på Sorbon som har amerikanska veckor efter eventet så det blev sent. Bjuder iallafall på en bild på min efterrätt American Dream (friterad Snickers med glass).

Pictures from the OPI event will have to wait. After the event me and my husband had dinner on Sorbon where they have american weeks. Here is a picture of the dessert I had, an American Dream (a deep-fried chocolate candy bar served with ice cream).

Baby Foot

Självklart så har jag testat Baby Foot footpeelingen som jag fick hem. Har dock inte sett något resultat ännu men det har inte gått en vecka ännu så jag får berätta om resultatet när jag sett det. Jag tyckte det var lite jobbigt att sitta med fötterna i platssockorna i två timmar så jag hoppas att resultatet kommer att vara värt det.

Glöm inte att kika in och se vilka av er som har vunnit varsitt paket av Baby Foot för att testa.

I have of course tried the Baby Foot footpeeling that I got a while back. I haven't seen any result but it can take up to a week and it hasn't been that long I will tell you what I thought as soon as I have seen the result. I'm not very patient so to have this plastic socks on for two hours wasn't the most fun thing I've done so I hope that it will be worth it. since I used it.
