Under Daisy Beauty Expo presenterade OPI sin modekollektion för våren och sommaren 2016, OPI New Orleans Collection. Kollektionen ska ge en känsla av riktigt New Orleans med sin mix av sommarfärger. Här ovan får ni en liten tjuvtitt på kollektionen. Mina favoriter i den här kollektionen är shimmerlacken Let Me Bayou a Drink, Humidi-Tea och Show Us Your Tips! Sedan gillar jag Suzi Nails New Orleans och Rich Girls & Po-Boys. 

Kollektionen kommer att finnas i butik från slutet av februari och lacken kommer att kosta 155 kr/st hos bl.a. Åhléns och Kicks. 



During Daisy Beauty Expo OPI presented their fashion collection for spring and summer 2016 the OPI New Orleans Collection. The collection is suppose to give a feeling of the real New Orleans with it's mix of summer shades. Above you can have a sneak peek of the collection that will be available in stores around Sweden from the end of February. My favorites are the shimmer polishes Let Me Bayou a Drink, Humidi-Tea and Show Us Your tips! I also like Suzi Nails New Orleans and Rich Girls & Po-Boys.

 Some nail art I've created playing with the OPI Color Paints.

Jag har berättat att OPI skulle släppa OPI Color Paints nu till sommaren och tänkte att det var dags att tala om vad jag tycker om dessa lack. OPI Color Paints är en serie nagellack speciellt framtagna för nail art. Jag fick dessa från OPI i våras och min första tanke var väl att det här var en rolig idé men kanske inte riktigt något för mig som helt saknar tålamod för nail art. Jag älskar nagellack (om någon nu skulle ha missat det) men nail art har jag inte alls tålamod för. Jag bestämde mig i alla fall för att ge dessa en chans när jag nu ändå har dem och jag måste säga att jag faktiskt har haft roligare med dessa än jag trodde att jag skulle ha. Det är faktiskt ganska enkelt att skapa rolig nail art, eller i mitt fall åtminstone något som påminner om nail art,  med dessa även om man är ovan. Dessutom tycker jag att de färgade Color Paint lacken är grymt läckra bara som de är eller bara målade som de är över Silver Canvas.

Här ovanför kan ni se lite snabba manikyrer som jag skapat med hjälp av OPI Color Paints.

 Jag kommer nog absolut att leka lite mer med dessa och se vad man kan göra för skoj med dem. 

I've told you that OPI would release a new collection called OPI Color Paints this summer and I thought it was time that I told you my impression about these. OPI Color Paint is a series of polishes especially designed for nail art. I recieved these from OPI earlier this year and my first thought was that well this might be a fun collection but maybe not for me since I lack the patience to do nail art. I love painting my nails and I love nail polish but nail art isn't my cup of tea. It requires more time and patience then I have. Well since I'd gotten these I thought that I might at least give them a try, right? And I have to admit that I actually had a lot of fun playing around with these. It's actually not that hard to create nail art, or in my case something that at least slightly reminds of nail art, with these. Even if you're a nail art newbie. I also think the OPI Color Paints looks really nice on their own or just painted over the OPI Silver Canvas.

OPI Color Paints are available in stores around Sweden now. 

I think I definitely will plays some more with these and see what else fun you can do with these.

 The OPI Brights for 2015

 OPI's collaboration with Coca-Cola continues. Six shades are from the collection they released last year but two colors are new.

 Here is the two new shades. I really like the green one but it's quite sheer.

 The Scandinavian hair care brand Vision Hair care.

 One of a kind, hand painted makeup brushes from Jacks Beauty Line. I love these, they look so beautiful.

 Hair products from the Italian brand Nashi

 Color Switch a little jar with a cushion in it that is suppose to make it easy for you to get the color of your makeup brushes when you want to use another color on your brush.

Magicstripes is suppose to be an instant wake up for hanging eyelids. No surgery needed. It's a small silicon stripe that you put in your crease to lift the eyelid. Then you can put on your eyeshadow like you normally do. 

Efter mitt snabba besök i Hanna Liska PR:s showroom förra veckan sprang jag vidare till Clarion Hotel på ringvägen för en bloggträff med Good PR där vi fick en snabb presentation av märkena Vision Haircare, Magcistripes, Color switch, Jacks Beautyline, Nashi och så klart OPI. OPI presenterade hela tre kommande nyheter. Samarbete med Coca-cola fortsätter. Det kommer att komma två ny lack och sex lack från förra årets kollektion kommer att finnas kvar i år. Vi fick även titta på deras Brights för i år. Den kollektionen såg fantastiskt fin ut. De presenterade även en helt ny produkt, OPI Color Paints ett effektlack som kommer i åtta färger plus ett silverfärgat canvas. De här lacken ska göra det enkelt för alla att göra effektful nail art. Jag har lekt lite med dessa i helgen och kan väl säga att jag inte tyckte det var jättenkelt att få snyggt men övning ger ju färdigthet så jag ska ge dessa några chanser till. Om inte annat är de faktiskt riktigt snygga i sig själva. Så om man som jag för det mesta saknar tålamod att hålla på med nail art så går dessa finfint att använda som de är eller bara över det silverfärgade canvaset. 



After the quick visit to Hanna Liska PR's showroom last week I run to Clarion hotel South in Stockholm for a bloggers meet-up with Good PR Scandinavia. They gave us a quick presentation of the brands Vision HairCare, Color Switch, Jacks Beauty Line, Nashi and of course OPI. OPI present a whole three new collection. Well their collaboration with Coca-Cola started last years so not the entire collection is new. Six of the shades from this collection is the same that was released last year. They do however also release two new coca-cola shades this year. They also presented the OPI Brights collection for 2015. I love this collection. All colors looks beautiful! They also presented a whole new product, OPI Color Paints. Color Paints are blendable nail polish that's suppose to make it possible for anyone to create artsy nail art. It comes in eight different shades plus a silvery canvas. I played around a bit with these this weekend and I have to say that I thought it was quite hard to get a good looking result. But practice makes perfect so I will give these a couple of more tries. If you are like me and lacks the patience to nail art a lot these do look lovely either on their own or just painted over the silvery canvas.

Jag tycker det var en ganska rolig box men jag tror att counture kitet är för mörkt för mig, har dock inte testat det ännu. Mini stylern är verkligen supersöt. Boxen kostar 249 kr i månaden så dyrare än Glossybox. Hos Shebox kan du dock se vad månadens boxen kommer att innehålla innan du bestämmer dig för att  börja prenumerera. Aprilboxen innehåller produkter från Calvin Klein, Rimmel, Schwarkopf, fashionista och Sen.

Shebox.se is a new beauty subscription service in Sweden and above you can see what was inside the March box. I think this box was kind of fun but I think the conture kit is going to be to dark for me. Haven't tried it yet though. The mini styler is super cute! This box is a bit more expensive than Glossybox. April's box is going to contain products from Calvin Klein, Rimmel, Schwarkopf, fashionista and Sen.

Silver & Gold make-up

  Viva La Diva Hot lips duo lipstick i Elektra inspirerade till dagens makeup look. Elektra är dock extremt skirt och ger tyvärr nästan bara ett lätt skimmer till läpparna. Inte alls så täckande som på produktbildern (se detta inlägg). Guld halvan av läppstiftet ger lite mer färg än silver sidan. Det går inte heller att bygga upp detta läppstift på ett enkelt sätt på grund av dess formula. Jag kompletterade läppstiftet med lite ögonskugga i guld och silver för att få till i alla fall lite av guld + silver läppar. Naglarna målade jag med OPI:s Rollin in Cashmere och Unfrost my heart. Till ögonen använde jag Half Baked och Chopper från Urban Decay Naked 2 paletten och Lime Crime liquid eyeliner i Silver.

Viva La Diva Hot Lips duo lipstick in Elektra was the inspiration for todays gold and silver duo make-up. Unfortunately Elektra is very, very sheer and only gives a light shimmer and almost no color to the lips. Not at all as the picture it in the promotion pictures that you can see here. I've boosted the colors a bit with some gold and silver eyeshadows for the color to at least show a bit like gold and silver for these photos. The lipstick is really hard to build up too because of it's formula. The gold part of the lipstick gives a bit more color than the silver side. On my nails I'm wearing OPI Rollin in Cashmere and Unfrost my heart. For the eye make-up I used Half Baked and Chopper from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and Lime Crime liquid eye liner in Silver.

OPI:s holiday kollektion 2014 är ett samarbete med Gwen Stefani. Jag måste erkänna att jag älskade OPI:s förra samarbete med Gwen Stefani. Även den här kollektionen innehåller en hel del fina lack. Gwen Stefani Holiday collection for OPI består av hela 18 lack och de som lockar mig mest i kollektionen är glitterlacken. Priset på lacken kommer att ligga på 155 kr/st och kommer i butik v. 46.

Vad tycker ni om OPI:s holiday kollektion i år?

OPI's holiday collection 2014 is a collaboration with Gwen Stefani. I have to admit that I loved their last collaboration with Gwen and this collection have some nice polishes too. The Gwen Stefani Holiday collection for OPI consists of 18 polishes and the once that I'm most excited about are the glitter shades. Gwen Stefani Holiday for OPI will be out in stores around Sweden from week 46.
