Depend släppte för ett tag sedan en ny serie nagellack och nagelvårdsprodukter, Depend O2, där genomsläppet av syre genom den lackade ytan är 30% bättre jämfört med ett genomsnitt av de lackprodukter som finns på marknaden idag. Hela Depend O2 serien är 5-FREE vilket innebär att den är fri från Dibutyl Phtalate, Toulene, Formaldehyde, Camphor och Tosylamide/Formaldehyde Resin.
Jag fick hem ett paket med Depend O2 produkter att testa. Jag har nu swatchat mig igenom sommarens O2 lack och tänkte att jag skulle ta och visa upp dessa. Ni kommer att få mer information om de övriga produkterna allt eftersom.

Vad: Nagellack som ska släppa igenom mer syre än vanliga nagellack
Om produkten: Depend har även lanserat en standard som visar hur täckande lacket är. Täckningsgraden har delats upp i tre kategorier; täckande, halvtäckande och transparent. De har då utgått från två tunna lager som riktmärke för täckningsgraden. Du hittar symbolen för täckningsgraden längst upp till vänster på flaskan. O2 serien ska som tidigare nämnts dessutom släppa igenom mer syre än andra lack.
Min åsikt: Depend O2 lacken har en trevlig formula som gör dem relativt enkla att lacka med. Resultatet kan se lite randigt efter att man målat första lagret men det ordnar sig när man målar på lager två. Jag gillar tanken bakom en standard för täckningsgraden så man är lite förberedd på hur täckande lacket är innan man sätter igång. Jag skulle dock inte säga att alla de lack som har symbolen för full täckningsgrad är fullständigt täckande efter två tunna lager så jag har målat tre lager av vissa av dessa för att få dem som täckande som jag vill ha dem. Det är viktigt att låta lagren torka ordentligt mellan varje lackning, vilket kan ta lite tid, annars har vissa av färgerna en viss tendens att bli lite bubbliga. Ser man bara till att låta det torka ordentligt mellan varje lager så är det dock inget problem.
Depend O2 är i minilack storlek (5 ml) vilket jag tycker är bra. Många använder inte upp en stor flaska och vill ändå kunna ha lite olika färger att välja mellan och då är dessa perfekta. Depend O2 lacken sitter riktigt bra men tenderar att tappa glansen ganska fort så vill man ha lacket på några dagar rekommenderar jag att man lägger på ett nytt lager top coat efter någon dag och är man ute efter ett mer longlasting lack så rekommenderar jag att man köper Depend 7-days istället.
Depend O2 lacken känns faktiskt som att de håller vad de lovar och bibehåller nagelkvalitén under lacket för mina naglar har varit mycket friskare under tiden som jag använt dessa än de normalt sett brukar vara när jag swatchar lack och byter lack stup i kvart.
Slutsats: Jag gillar känslan av välmående naglar som jag haft när jag använt Depend O2 lacken. Jag gillar även storleken på dessa lack som gör det möjligt att köpa på sig ett gäng av lacken utan att det märks speciellt mycket på bankkontot. Tyvärr upplever jag att de inte bibehåller glansen lika bra som Depends andra nagellack men det kan jag stå ut med för det är inte speciellt jobbigt att bättra på topplacket för att återställa den ursprungliga glansen.

products to evaluate. I have swatched my way through the summer
collection, I thought to myself that I should show these products.

Depend O2 nail polish summer 2015
What: Nail polish that are supposed to
let more oxygen through to the nail compared to other nail polishers
About the product: Depend has also
published a standard that describes how opaque the polish is. The
level of coverage is divided into three groups: opaque, semi-opaque
and transparent. They have graded the covering level based on two
thin coats. You will find the symbol of covering grade on the top
left of the bottle. The O2 series are, as previously mentioned,
supposed to let more oxygen through compare to other nail polishes.
My opinion: The Depend O2 polish has a
very nice formula that makes it relatively easy to polish the nails.
The result is a little bit streaky after the first coat, but will be
OK after you have applied the second coat. I like the idea of a
grading scale describing the opacity. It gives you a hint about the
opacity before the polishing begins.
But I wouldn't say that all their
polishes that are marked opaque are completely opaque after two thin
coats.
Therefore I have applied three coats of
polish of some of them in order to achieve a completely opaque
result. It is important to let the coats dry properly before applying
the next one, which will take some time, otherwise some of the colors
as a tendency to become bubbly. But there will be no problems , if
you just assure yourself that the polish has dried properly between
each layer.
Depend O2 is a mini-polish sized nail
polish (5 ml) which I think is good. A lot of people will not finish
a big bottle and would like the ability to have a lot of different
colors to choose from, if that is the case this is a perfect size.
The Depend O2 polish is quite long lasting but have a tendency to
loose the glossiness quite quickly. This means that If you would like
to have the nail polish for a couple of days I recommend to put on a
new coat of top coat after a day or two and if you are more
interesting a long-lasting nail polish I recommend that you should
buy Depend 7-days instead.
It feels like the Depend O2 polish
actually keeps the promises and maintains the nail nail quality under
the polish. At least my nails have been a lot healthier during the
time I have used these polishes.
Conclusion: I like the feeling of the
healthy nails I have experienced during the time I have been using
the Depend O2 polish. I also like that the size of the bottles makes
it possible to buy a group of different shades without running too
expensive. Unfortunately I have experienced that the 02-polishes
won't keep the shine as well as other polishes from Depend. But I can
live with that given the fact that I don't think it is too much work
to add another coat of top coat to restore the original glossiness.
