Edwin Trieu A/W15 fashion show at Stockholm Fashion week

I tisdag visade Edwin Trieu upp sin höst- och vinterkollektion för 2015 på Stockholm Fashion week hos Berns. En snygg och lite sportig kollektion som jag verkligen gillade. För er som inte känner till Edwin Trieu så är det ett svenskt klädmärke skapat 2012 av designern Edwin Trieu. Ni borde definitivt spana in det här märket.

Earlier this week Edwin Trieu showed his A/W15 collection at Stockholm Fashion week at Berns. A nice and a bit sporty and edgy collection that I really liked. If you aren't familiar with the brand I should tell you that Edwin Trieu is a swedish clothing brand created in 2012 by the Swedish designer Edwin Trieu. You should definitely check out this brand.

Open house at Mildh press showroom

Förra veckan besökte jag Mildh Press showroom här i Stockholm och spanade in vårmodet och nya skönhetsprodukter från de märken som de ansvarar för här i Sverige. De hade ett nytt klädmärke, Hedvig Stockholm som är designat av Hedvig Andér som bl.a. stylat om svenskar i TV-programmet Go'kväll i SVT. Med mig hem fick jag hennes bok "Hitta din stil med Hedvig". Har inte hunit bläddra i boken än men kan säkert vara intressant. Kappan på nedersta bilden här ovan är från Hedvig Stockholm. Själv blev jag helt kär i den zick-zack mönstrade Ilse Jacobsen klänning som ser lite Missoni inspirerad ut. Väskorna från Tosca Blu lockar också.

Vad det gäller skönhet så kan jag avslöja att Idun Minerals kommer ut med lite nyheter i februari men dem vill de inte att vi visar ännu så ni får tåla er ett tag till. 

Last week I visited Mildh press showroom here in Stockholm to check out the spring collections from their fashion brands and see if the beauty brands they represent in Sweden had any interesting news. They had a new fashion brand, Hedvig Stockholm, designed by the Swedish stylist Hedvig Andér that amongst other things have given Swedish people makeovers in television for years. I got her book called Find your style with Hedvig (my translation) with me home. I haven't had time to look in it yet but that might be interesting. The coat in the last pic here above is from Hedvig Stockholm. What I really fell for was the zig-zag printed a bit Missoni inspired dress from Ilse Jacobsen. I really loved the Tosca Blu handbag and clutch too. 

In the beauty department I can say that the Swedish mineral makeup brand Idun Minerals will be releasing some new products in February but they don't want us to show you those until then so you will have to wait.

Vad: Tvåfärgat läppstift

Pris: 80 kr

Om produkten: Duo läppstift i två olika rosa toner.

Min åsikt: Till skillnad från det silver och guldfärgade läppstiftet Electra så är Godiva faktiskt riktigt bra pigmenterat. Särskilt den mörkare rosa sidan är riktigt fint pigmenterad. De är inte jättestor skillnad på färgerna på Godiva. Jag har den ljust på överläppen på denna bild och det mörka på underläppen. Särskilt den mörkare färgen sätt riktigt bra och höll faktiskt hela dagen (med MAC prep + prime lip primer under). Hylsan på de här läppstiften tycker jag är fantastiskt fina och det här är faktiskt ett riktigt bra budgetläppstift. Dessutom får du två färger till priset av ett.

Slutsats: Ett riktigt trevligt budgetläppstift som känns riktigt prisvärt. Kul att man får två färger i ett läppstift. Vill man inte lägga så mycket pengar på sitt läppstift så kan det här vara ett bra val.

Viva La Diva Hot duo lipstick 122 Godiva

What: Two toned lipstick

About the product: Duo lipstick in two different pink tones.

My opinion: I wasn't impressed by the pigmentation in the silver and gold Electra hot duo lipstick from Viva La Diva but Godiva is actually nicely pigmented. Especially the darker pink shade has nice pigmentation. It's not that big different in the two shades. I have the lighter pink on my upper lip and the darker pink on my lower lip in this photo. The lighter shade worn of a bit but the darker shade actually lasted the entire day (with MAC prep + prime lip primer as base). I love the design of this lipstick and it's actually a really nice budget lipstick. And you get two colors in one lipstick.

Conclusion: A nice budget lipstick that feels worth the price you pay for it. It's fun that you get two shades in one lipstick. If you want to save on lipstick I think this can be a good budget choice.

Igår var det en rosa dag med en väldig enkel makeup där både ögon och läppar gick i rosa. Jag brukar annars inte använda rosa ögonmakeup men jag kände att jag var tvungen att testa dessa Lime Crime magic dusts.

Yesterday was a pink kind of day. Both eye and lip makeup was in different shades of pink. I usually don't wear pink eye makeup but I had to try these Lime crime magic dusts.

Diors vår-look Kingdom of colors är fantastisk fin. Den är precis i min smak. Vackra pasteller blandas med mörkare sotade färger. Stjärnprodukten paletten Kingdom of colors spring 2015 colors palette innehåller tio produkter för att skapa en hel look. Du hittar ögonskuggor, rouge, mattifying puder, highligher, eye liner, läppstoft och gloss, allt i en och samma midnattsblå dosa. Paletten är inte direkt billig men den innehåller verkligen den mesta och är otroligt vacker. Mina must-haves i den här kollektion är dock Dior addict gloss i färgen 004 Tiara, ett otroligt fint holo skimrande läppglans och Dior Vernis Blossoming top coat 001 som är ett sockersött flake lack med pastelligt gröna och mintgröna flakes i. Även Dior Addict IT Lash IT mascara i 982 violet lockar.

Diors vår-look finns redan nu på NK och kommer under nästa vecka ut i butik på Åhléns och Kicks. 

Är Dior Kingdom of Colors 2015 något som faller er i smaken?

Dior's spring look Kingdom of Colors is absolutely lovely. This is a look that I really like. A mix of beautiful pastel colors and smokey shades. The Star product Kingdom of colors spring 2014 colors palette contains ten products to create an entire look. Here you find eyeshadows, blush, mattefying powder, a shimmering highlighter, lip gloss, lipstick and eyeliner all in one beautiful midnight blue case. This is a bit expensive but it contains a lot of different products and is really beautiful. My must haves from this collection isn't this one though. What I really want is the Dior Addict gloss in 004 Tiara, a beautiful holo shimmering gloss and the pretty glitter topper Dior Vernis Blossoming top coat 001 with pastel green and mint flakes in it. Dior Addict IT Lash IT mascara in 982 Violet is also screaming for me. 

This collection is already out at NK in Sweden and next week it will be available at Åhléns and Kicks stores around the country too.

Daisy Beauty Expo 2015

 The lovely spring collection from Dior Kingdom of colors. I absolutely adore this collection! The Dior Vernise blossoming top coat ( the mint glitter topper) is a definitive must have this spring.

 New foundations and powders from Dior Nude air. These felt really light weight and I would have loved to try the foundation but unfortunately they didn't have a shade light enough for me with them so I've only tried the powder. Tried the foundation on my hand though and it felt very nice so I think I will have to invest in the foundation if I can find the right shade for me.

 Nail polish portfolio from Dior. Needless to say it would be a dream to have this at home...

 I got a scent analysis from Farao at the Dior boot. Apparently my signature scent would be Dior J'adore.

 The new face for Dior in Sweden. No just kidding. But I did get some makeup done by their makeup artist.

 Björn Axen was there and at their boot you could get your hair styled. Or just check out their products. They also had a lecture that you could attend.

 I also checked out Elizabeth Arden where I got to choose a lip gloss. My choice was the shade Intriguing Violet.

 At pürminerals you could check out their liquid veil 4-in-1 spray foundation and the Jupiter Ascending palette. The lipgloss in the palette has a built in light.

 Medik8 is a cosmeceuticals brand from USA that hasn’t been available in Sweden before. They decided to do their launch in Sweden at the Daisy Beaury Expo 2015 yesterday. I'm really curious about their products so I'm really looking forward to trying out the products I got yesterday.

 Depend showed up their 7day polishes. It's a hybrid between regular polish and gel polish. You don't need a UV-lamp for these but you do need the small start kit with cleaning, base coat and top coat. Can't wait to try these out and see if they are any good. You could get your nails done with these at the expo yesterday but I had already done my nails at another boot so I passed on that.

 Some Juicy Couture perfumes. I piced up a sample of their Golden Couture.

 The French ecological beauty brand Melvita isn't available in Sweden yet but hopefully they will found their way in to the Swedish market soon. They where at the Daisy Beauty Expo though so we could check out the brand. Their flower waters sounds really interesting.

I also got my nails done by Tara from Frida Selkirk Nailstyling. The nails I got matched my outfit for the day perfectly.

I går gick det första, men förhoppningsvis inte sista, Daisy Beauty Expo av stapeln på Lundqvist & Lindqvist Tändstickpalatset här i Stockholm. Daisy Beauty Expo 2015 anordnades av tidningen Daisy Beauty och det var 100 journalister och bloggare inbjudna till expot. 

Jag är så glad och tacksam över att jag fick vara del av detta otroligt välorganiserad arrangemang. Kicki Norman och de andra på Daisy Beauty har verkligen gjort ett fantastiskt jobb med att styra upp detta. Tack!

Programmet för dagen bestod av ett antal intressanta och för dagen passande föreläsningar av bl.a. Apoteket AB, Björn Axén och SHR:s ordförande Annica Joensuu. På plats fanns även massor av kunniga och hjälpsamma utställare som t.ex. Dior, Depend, Jane Iredale, bareMinerals, bliss och pürminerals. Man kunde bli sminkad, få naglarna fixade och håret stylat under dagen. Som ni kan se ovan så passade jag på att få naglarna fixade och bli sminkad. Både hos Dior och pürminerals faktiskt. Jag fick även lösögonfransar från Kiss fastsatta men tyvärr glömde jag ta någon närbild där de syns.

Gårdagen var helt igenom lyckad och Kicki och de andra på Daisy Beauty var supertrevliga. Sedan fick jag så klart chansen att träffa ett helt gäng med andra skönhetsintresserade tjejer och killar. Både gamla och nya bekantskaper.Så jag var glad och nöjd, men trött, när jag kom hem igår.

Det enda tråkiga var väl att jag, trots karta och guidad tur av Kicki, lyckades missa att besöka Dermalogica och Jane Iredale. Men jag tänker inte grämas över det utan istället vara glad över allt jag faktiskt lyckades se och allt jag lärde mig under gårdagen.

Med mig hem fick jag massor med produkter att testa så det kommer att komma en hel del av recensioner av produkter från Daisy Beauty Expo framöver. 

Yesterday I attended the first but hopefully not the last Daisy Beauty Expo. For all of you how are not from Sweden and not familiar with Daisy Beauty I guess a presentation is at place. Daisy Beauty is the only Swedish magazine how have beauty as their main focus and yesterday they arranged Daisy Beauty Expo 2015. It was a expo with 100 invited journalists and bloggers. 

I'm so glad and grateful that I got to attend this amazingly well organized event. Kicki and the others at Daisy Beauty had done an amazing job putting all this together. Thank you!

On the schedule for the day was lot of lectures in fitting subjects by interesting companies. Their were also a lot of helpful and able-bodied exhibitors from brands like Dior, Depend, Dermalogica, Jane Iredale, bareMinerals, bliss and püreminerals. You could get your nails done, get your makeup done by makeup artists and get your hair styled. All at more than one place. As you can see I got my nails done and I also got my makeup done. Actually both by Dior and pürminerals. I also got some false eyelashes from Kiss. Unfortunately I forgot to take a close up pick on my eyes so you could see the false eyelashes I wore.

Yesterday was an success if you as me. Kicki and the others from Daisy Beauty were really sweethearts and I got the chance to spend the day with a whole bunch of beauty loving women and men. Both old and new acquaintances. I was happy and satisfied but tired when I got home yesterday. 

The only regret I have is that I, decpite the fact that I had a map over all the exhibitors and got a guided tour by Kicki when I arrived, managed to miss the Dermalogica and Jane Iredale boot. Well I'm not going to feel sorry 'bout myself for that. Instead I'm happy about everything I actually got to check out and everything I learned during the day. 

I got a lot of product to try yesterday so their will be a lot of reviews of products from Daisy Beauty Expo to come.
