Don’t go to sleep alone. I januari släppte Clinique en ny nattkräm- Clinique Superdefense Night recovery moisturizer- som ska arbeta medan huden (och du vilar).

Jag har nu testat Clinique Superdefense Night recovery moisturizer i åtta veckor och känner mig nu redo att berätta för er vad jag tycker om den.

Clinique Superdefense Night recovery moisturizer

 Vad: Återuppbyggande nattkräm. Finns för väldigt torr till torr/kombinerad och kombinerad/fet till fet hud.

 

Pris: 530 kr för 50 ml

Om produkten: Produkten beskrivs av Clinique som en fuktcreme till natten som ska hjälpa huden att motstå de första synliga ålderstecknen. Stimulera den naturliga kollagen- och elastinproduktionen och stötta den optimala cellförnyelsen på natten. Stärka hudens fuktbarriär så att den blir bättre på att stå emot miljömässiga påverkningar. Den innehåller även antioxidanter.

Min åsikt: Jag har testat Clinique Superdefense Night recovery för väldigt torr till torr kombination och det är en härligt tjock kräm. Den känns dock inte det minsta tung och fet, bara härligt återfuktande. Min torra hud har blivit såå mycket bättre sedan jag började använda den här. Även om krämen varken känns klibbig eller fet på huden så märken man av den lite. Det känns ungefär som att man är lite fuktig i ansiktet en stund efter att man smörjt in sig. Det behövs inte alls mycket kräm för att det ska räcka till ansikte och hals så den känns relativt dryg. Jag önskar att det hade följt med en liten spatel.

Slutsat: Jag gillar Clinique Superdefense Night recovery. Fungerar fantastiskt bra på min vintertorra hud och gör att huden känns härligt återfuktad och plumpad. Skulle defintivt kunna tänka mig att köpa. Älskar att den känns så effektiv och återfukande utan att vara fet.

I’ve tried Clinique Superdefense Night recovery moisturizer for eight weeks now and feel that I’m now ready to tell you my thoughts about it.

Clinique Superdefense Night recovery moisturizer

What: An overnight recovery cream. Available in two formulas -Very dry to dry combination and Combination oily to oily skin.

About the product: Clinique claims that the cream helps fight against early signs of ageing by warding off damage caused by daily environment aggressors. Key ingredients are suppose to help strengthen skin’s moisture barrier and simulating natural collagen and elastin production.

My opinion: I’ve tried Clinique Superdefense Night recovery for very dry to dry combination skin and it has a very thick and creamy formula that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. Just very hydrating. My dry skin has become soo much better since I started to use this. Event though it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin it is noticeable. The face feels almost like it’s a bit moist awhile after I’ve used this cream. You don’t need much of this for the entire face and neck area. I wish the cream had come with a little spatula.

Conclusion: I like Clinique Superdefense Night recovery. It works fantastically well on my winter dry skin and it makes the skin feels nicely hydrated and plump. I would definitely considering buying this. I love that it feels so effective and hydrating without making my skin feel greasy.

Vad: Återfuktande ansiktsserum

 

Pris: ca 699 kr för 30 ml

 

Om produkten: För alla hudtyper, men särskilt bra för torr eller mogen hud. Hydra Miracle Seum ska ge huden maximal återfuktning med en unik kombination av tre olika hyaluronsyror för optimal effekt.

 

Min åsikt: Serumet kommer i en fin glasflaska med pipett. Jag är egentligen inte överfötjust i glasflaskor då jag är extremt klantig av mig och ofta tappar saker men förpackningen är onekligen stilren och jag gillar den praktiska pipetten. Serumet är genomskinligt och geleaktigt och går fint in i huden utan att lämna en kladdig känsla efter sig. Huden känns återfuktad och plumpad efter användning och det har en väldigt lätt doft. Eftersom det inte doftar så mycket och inte lämnar en kladdig känsla efter sig så uppskattas den även av min man. M Picaut Hydra Miracle Serum har fått min man att äntligen börja smörja in ansiktet. Han bad att få testa serumet en dag när jag använde det och nu ber han om det varje gång han tvättat ansiktet.

 

Serumet ska appliceras under valfri M Picaut Moisturiser eller deras Precious Oil för bästa resultat. Jag har inte kombinerat serumet med någon av dessa men det fungerar helt fantastiskt även under andra fuktkrämer.

 

Jag älskar verkligen det här serumet. Det känns återfuktande men lätt och inte det minsta kladdigt. Otroligt skönt på torr och stramande hud.

 

Slutsats: En ny favorit här hemma, både hos mig och mannen. Kommer definitivt att se till att ha M Picaut Hydra Miracle Serum hemma. Rekommenderas till alla som vill ha något som återfuktar ordentligt utan att kännas fett och kladdigt på huden.

What: Face serum for maximum hydration

 

About the product: Serum for all skin types but especially good for dry or mature skin. Hydra Miracle Seum is suppose to give maximum hydration with it's unique combination of three different hyaluronic acids for optimal effect.

 

My opinion: The serum comes in a glass bottle with a pipett. I'm actually not a fan of glass bottles since I'm a big clumps that always drops stuff but the packing is stylish and clean and I do love the pipett. The serum is a clear gel that goes in to skin nicely without leaving any sticky feeling behind. The skin feels hydrated and plumped after use and it has a very light smell. Since it's so light, doesn't smell much and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy my hubby loves it too. M Picaut Hydra Miracle Serum has actually gotten my hubby to finally start moisturizing his face. He asked to try some once when I used it and I let him and since then ha asks for this serum every time he has washed his face.

 

The serum should be applied prior to any M Picaut Moisturiser of you choice or their Precious Oil for best result. I haven't used the serum in combination with any other M Picaut products but it has still worked wonderful.

 

I love this serum. It feels hydrating but very light and not the least bit sticky or greasy. Very nice on dry skin. 

 

Conclusion: A new favorite in our house for both me and hubby. I will definetly make sure to have M Picaut Hydra Miracle Serum at home. I recommend this to those of you that likes something that really hydrates the skin without feeling greasy or too heavy.

Eau Thermale Avène Antirougeurs Redness-relief Dermo-cleansing milk

Vad: Rengöringsmjölk

Pris: Ca 189 kr för 300 ml 

Om produkten: Hos Apotea som en krämig rengöring som dämpar rödblommig hud och synliga blodkärl i ansiktet. Rengöringsmjölken rengör skonsamt och har en lugnande verkan på huden. Tar även bort make-up. Rekommenders speciellt för känslig hud med couperos. Lätt parfymerad.

Min åsikt: Jag är egentligen inte så förtjust i rengöringsmjölk men tänkte att jag skulle ge denna en chans eftersom jag lätt blir rödblommig i ansiktet. Avène Antirougeurs Anti-Redness Cleansing Milk har nästan ingen doft alls. Den är mild och irriterar inte min känsliga hud och tar även bort lättare makeup. Skulle dock rekommendera att kombinera med en eye makeup remover, särskilt om du använt den kraftigare ögon makeup. Supersmidig att använda. Applicera Redness-Relief Dermo-Cleansing Milk morgon och kväll med en bomullsrondell eller med fingertopparna, massera in försiktigt med cirkulerande rörelser. Skölj av genom at spraya på Avène Thermal Spring Water. Jag känner mig faktiskt riktigt ren efter användning av denna och den känns inte så uttorkande vilket är bra så här under vintern.Trots att denna ska vara skonsam och anpassad för känslig hud så känns min hud dock mindre torr efter användning av en mild foaming cleanser än efter rengöring med den här.  Jag kan inte heller säga att jag har märkte någon effekt på rödblommigheten.

Slutsats: Jag föredrar andra typer av rengöringar än rengöringmjölk då jag känner mig renare efter att jag tvättat mig med andra former av rengöring än rengöringsmjölk. Jag gillar dock att den är mild och inte så uttorkande eftersom jag lätt blir torr, särskilt på vintern. Har dock som sagt testat foaming cleanser som fungerat bättre på min känsliga och vintertorra hud än den här. Har inte märkt någon skillnad vad det gäller rödblommighet tyvärr. Jag kommer nog att använda den här ibland men jag tror inte jag kommer att köpa den igen. Om man gillar rengöringmjölk är det nog trevlig men nej ingen favorit hos mig.

What: Cleansing milk 

About the product: Avène describes it as having a gentle soothing formula that comforts skin while cleansing. Formulated to respect the sensitivity of redness-prone skin by calming as it gently cleanses and removes impurities. Key ingredients work synergistically to provide comfort.

Skin Type: Redness-prone 

 

My opinion: I'm actually not very found of cleansing milks but since I have redness-prone skin I thought I'd give this a chance.  Avène Antirougeurs Anti-Redness Cleansing Milk almost doesn't smell anything. It's mild and not irritating to my sensitive skin and it does remove a light  makeup. I would suggest using eye makeup remover to remove eye makeup though. Especielly heavier one. It's super easy to use. Apply Redness-Relief Dermo-Cleansing Milk in the morning and in the evening with a cotton pad or your fingers and massage it in with circular motions. Rinse it off by spraying on Avène Thermal Spring Water. My skin does feel clean after use and it's not so drying so good for winter dry skin. Even though it's suppose to be sensitive and soothing I have tried mild foaming cleanser that has been better for my dry and sensitive skin then this.  I haven't noticed any difference when it comes to redness.
 

Conclusion: I prefer other kind of cleansers before cleansing milks since I feel much cleaner after use of other cleansers. I do like that it's mild and not so drying since I easy get dry especially during the winter. As I mentioned I have tried mild foaming cleanser that works better in my sensitive and dry skin then this does and I haven't noticed any difference on the redness area. I probably use this from time to time but I will not buy this again. If you like cleansing milks then this might be nice but it's no favourite of mine.

Depend O2 handspa

Depend O2 serien innehåller inte bara lack utan även en hel del vårdande produkter för händer och naglar. Bland annat denna härliga 3-stegsbehandling för mjuka och återfuktade händer. Kan verkligen rekommendera er att testa ett Depend o2 Handspa.

Första steget är en handpeeling med små, lite vassa men sköna, peeling korn. Massera in peelingen på fuktade händer och vänta ca 5 minuter, massera och skölj sedan bort peelingen. Steg två är en moisturizing gel som gör händerna skönt återfuktade och det sista steget är deras silk lotion. Efter de här tre stegen känns händerna fantastiskt mjuka och återfuktad. Hemma hos oss har det här blivit en söndagsritual och min man älskar det. Lite oklart om det är produkterna eller handmassagen som uppskattas... =) men även han gillar att händerna blir babymjuka efter vårt Depend O2 handspa.

The Depend O2 product line doesn't just contain nail polishes it also contains a lot of products for hand and nail care. Amongst others you'll find this 3 step hand care routine that will leave your hands feeling really soft and moisturized.  

The first step is a hand peeling with small blue,  a bit sharp but still nice feeling, peeling beads in it. Massages the peeling on to moist hands and wait for approximately 5 minutes before you massage your hands with it again. Then wash the peeling off. Step two is the moisturizing gel that makes the hand nicely moisturized and the last step is their silk lotion. After these three steps your hands will feel incredible soft and moisturized. At our home this has become a Sunday ritual and my hubby loves it. I'm not sure if it's the products he likes or the hand massage..=) but he too likes the feeling of baby soft hands you get from the Depend O2 hand spa.

Vinterfavorit: M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream

En vinterfavorit hos mig har varit M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream som är en lugnande barriärkräm.

Det är inte bara viktigt att skydda huden mot sol utan även mot köld, blåst och torr luft. Den här vintern har jag använt M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream för att skydda huden. M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream innehåller bland annat avokado olja och ska lämpa sig även för väldigt känslig hud. Den är otroligt dryg så det behövs verkligen inte mycket av den. Jag hade önskat det hade kommit med en liten spatel med denna då det behövs för att få ut krämen ur burken på ett enkelt sätt. Nu hade jag iofs gott om oanvända små krämspatlar hemma så för mig var det inga problem. M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream känns len och skön på huden men råkar jag ta lite för mycket av den så blir min hy lite blank av den. Den har i alla fall var en riktig favorit hos mig den här vintern.

A favourite of mine this winter has been M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream which is a soothing barrier cream.

It's not only important to protect your skin against the sun you should also protect it from cold weather, wind and dry air.  This winter I've been protecting my skin using M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream. M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream contains avocado oil and is suppose to be suitable even for the most sensitive skin. It's very rich so a little goes a very long way with this. I wish it had come with a spatula cause that is needed to get the cream out of the jar in a good way.  I had a lot of unused spatulas at home so it wasn't that big of a problem for me. M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream feels very nice on the skin and makes it super soft. If I take to much it makes my skin a bit shiny though. Anyway M Picaut Calming Cocoon Cream has been a really winter favourite for me this year.

Miss Tutii TutiiMask

Miss Tutii TutiiMask är en prenumerationsservice som precis som namnet antyder innehåller ansiktsmasker. Miss Tutii TutiiMask innehåller produkter från länder som bl.a. Japan, Korea, Taiwan och Schweiz. Jag tog och testade februaris mask bag.

När jag fick syn på Miss Tutii på instagram var jag bara tvungen att testa nu när man favorit prenumerationsbox från Korea, Memebox inte längre levererar till Sverige. Miss Tutiis TuttiMask kostar 12$ + frakt och det gick verkligen extremt snabbt att få hem den. Jag beställde på en fredag. Tio minuter efter att jag lagt min beställning fick jag ett mail om att den hade skickats och på tisdagen landade den i min brevlåda! Maskerna kom i en söt liten rosa påse med ett informationskort om hur maskerna ska användas och vad de används för.

Jag älskar att testa nya produkter och älskar att den här prenumerationsservicen innehåller annorlunda märken som inte är så enkla att få tag på här i Sverige. Man får ange sin hudtyp när man beställer. Är man intresserad av annat än bara ansiktsmasker har de även TutiiBag och TutiiBox. Det enda negativa med Miss Tutii tycker jag är att man inte kan betala med PayPal. 

Miss Tutii TutiiMask is a subscription service and as the name suggest it contains of face masks. Miss Tutii TutiiMask contains products from countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Switzerland. I decided to try the February Miss Tutii TutiiMask bag as you can see here above.  

When I found Miss Tutii on Instagram I just know I had to try it now when my favourite Korean subscription service Memebox no longer ship to Sweden. Miss Tutii TutiiMask costs 12$ + shipping and the service was so quick. I ordered it on a Friday. Ten minutes later I got an email saying it was shipped and on Tuesday the bag arrived in my mail box! The masks where delivered in a cute pink bag with an information card with information about what the masks are for and how they work. 

 I love to try new products and this subscription contains brands that are hard to get your hands on here in Sweden. You tell them your skin type when you order. If you like to try other products as well and not only face masks they also have TutiiBag and TutiiBox. The only thing I think is negative with Miss Tutii is that they don't accept PayPal.

Magicstripes Lifting Collagen mask

MagicStripes Lifting Collagen Mask

Vad: Lyftande collagemask för nedre halvan av ansiktet (haka, hals). 

 Pris: 499 kr för 5 masker 

Om produkten: Masken ska lyfta, strama upp och definierar den nedre halvan av
   ansiktet samt stimulera reduceringen av fettdepåer inom applikationsområdet. Stärka hudens elasticitet, minska svullnad och ha en kylande effekt.

Min åsikt: Masken ger en skönt kylande känsla men jag tycker den är lite småttobekväm att ha på då jag inte riktigt gillar saker som ligger mot halsen. Efter ett tag så störde de mig dock inte så mycket. Masken ska sitta på 40-60 minuter vilket är ganska länge men eftersom den sätts fast runt öronen så gör det inte så mycket. Den sitter på plats bra. Huden under hakan känns skönt sval och lite stramare efter användning.

Slutsats: Masken är ganska dyr. Ett fem pack kostar 499 kr dvs nästan 100 kr för en mask. Jag gillar dock den här typen av masker som riktar in sig på en viss del av ansiktet så man kan ge lite extra omtanke till de områden som man verkligen känner att man behöver ge lite extra omsorg eller som man vill förbättra. Magistripes Lifting Collagen mask är enkel att använda, ger ett litet lätt lyft åt hakområdet utan att du behöver ta till skalpellen (även om man ser ut som man varit med om en olycka när man har denna på dig) och den känns skönt kylande. Har man som jag lite extra fett under hakan, eller om man har lite slapp hud under hakan, tycker jag man kan ge den här ett försök. Har man redan fint definerad haka kan jag tycka att det inte känns helt nödvändigt att lägga pengarna på denna. Jag kan inte säga att jag tycker att man ser så mycket skillnad efter att man använt den hakområdet känns i alla fall mer definierat efter användning. Tycker den är trevlig att använda någon gång ibland för en känsla av lite mer väldefinierad haklinje.

Jag är extremt nyfiken på att testa Magicstripes andra masker, Magicstripes Hyaloronic intensive face mask och Magic hand repairing gloves.



MagicStripes Lifting Collagen Mask
 
What: Lifting collagen mask for the lower half of the face (jaw, chin)
Price: 5 masks for €49.00

About the product: The mask is suppose to lift, tighten and define the lower half of the face and stimulate the reduction of fat deposits within the application area. Reimpart the skin's elasticity, reduce swelling and have a cooling effect.

My opinion: The mask gives a nice cooling sensation but in my opinon it is a little bit uncomfortable since I don't like things covering my throat. After a while it didn't bother me so much though. The mask is suppose to stay on for 40 to 60 minutes which is quite a long time but since it is applied around the ears it isn't such a big deal. It stays in place in a nice way. The skin below the chin feels nicely cool and tight after usage.

Conclusion: The mask is quite expensive. A five-pack costs €49.00 which means almost €5.00 per mask. I like these kind of masks that's targeting one part of the face because than you can give the area that needs some extra caring a special treatment. The usage of the Magistripes Lifting Collagen mask is simple, it gives a light lifting to the chin area without the need of a scalpel (even if you look like you've been in an accident when you're wearing the mask) and it gives a nice cooling sensation. If you have some extra skin, or extra fat below the chin like me, I think this mask is worth a try. If you already have a nicely defined chin I don't think mask is worth the money for you. I don't see such a huge difference after using the mask but the chin and jaw area feels a lot more define post usage. I think the product is nice to use once in a while to get the feeling of a well defined jaw line.

 In Kicks calendar I found this Thomas Sabo roll on perfume in Charm rose in box 15. This is a lovely scent but unfortunately it doesn't last long.

 The beauty secret from Lookfantastic had another rhyme for me on box 16. It said: Behind this door lies an eye-opening surprise!

 And behind door 16 of The Beauty Secret I found this Magnifibres treatment primer.

 Behind door 16 of Skincity's calendar I found Rodial Dragon's blood eye masks.

 Inside box 16 of Kicks calendar I found this Blow pro Body by blow crunch volumizing mousse. My dirty mind is thinking 'bout something totally different than hair products when I see the name of this brand....

 Box 17 of The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic contained this Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara. Can't wait to try this.

 Skincity had a little glo minerals highlighter for me in box 17.

 Kicks calendar contained an eyeshadow in box 17.

 On December 18th it was time for a another rhyme from Lookfantastic. On the box it said: If you're on the search for sparkling skin, then you'll love the treat you find within.

 And inside box 18 of The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic I found this pai Rice plant & rosemary Bioaffinity skin tonic.

 Skincity's calendar had a Peter Thomas Roth Rose stem cell bio-repair gel mask for me in box 18.

 Inside Kicks calendar I found their Eye primer on December 18th. I'm really curious about this one.

 Inside box 19 of The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic I found this bareMinerals eyeshadow

 Inside box 19 of Skincity's calendar I found a Elemis pro-collagen Marine cream Ultra-rich

 Kicks carried on their eye makeup theme for December 19th with their Extrem extension long lash mascara.

 Box 20 of the Beauty Secret containd yet another rhyme. This one said: Spice yourself up like a Christmas pud, with this treat so delicious it'll leave you smellin' good.

 And behind door 20 of The Beauty Secret Lookfantastic had hidden this Molton Brown Black Peppercorn body wash. It had a lovely scent.

 Behind door 20 of Skincity's calendar I found three Transderma serums. Transderma A, Transderma C and Transderma M.

 Door 21 on The beauty Secret from Lookfantastic said: Soon enough you'll say goodbye to the snow, but don't wait to long for your lovely, golden glow!

 And behind door 21 of Lookfantstic's The beauty secret where this St Tropez instant tan wash of face & body lotion.

 Box 21 of Skincity's calendar contained their lotion mask. The look like small pills. You put them in a glass and soaks them with the serum or toner of your choice and then you unfold it and it's ready to use.

 On December 21th Kicks calendar had a Burt's bees hand salve for me.

 The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic had a Eve Lom cleanser and muslin clothes for me in box 22.

 Skincity's calendar had Cicamed collagen boost mask behind door 22.

 Kicks calendar contained one of their polishes in box 22. It's not that polish I'm wearing in this photo. The polish on my nails is Leighton Denny's Caught red handed.

 Door 23 of Lookfantastics calendar said: Get the Christmas Glow, use me and you're good to go!

 And inside box 23 of Lookfantastic's calendar I found Murad Rapid collagen infusion.

 Box 23 of Skincity's calendar containd Jan Marini bioglycolic face cleanser.

 Lookfantastic had hidden Nuxe réve de miel face cleansing and make-up removing gel behind door 24.

 Skincity's calendar containd Carie fluid the beauté 14 behind door 24.

 Kicks calendar had a Depend o2 nail polish in box 24

The beauty secret from Lookfantastic had 25 doors and behind the last door I found a Tangle Teezer. I love Tangle Teezer! Now I have three Tangle Teezer orginial and three Tangle Teezer compact. 

 Många fantastiska skönhetsgåvor har gömt sig i dessa kalendrar och jag är riktigt nöjd. Insåg dock att jag glömt fota lucka 23 av Kicks kalender. The innehöll en lite IsaDora foundation sample. Jag måste säga att Kicks kalendar hade en ganska trist nedräkning fram till jul. Man förväntar sig ju lite att det bästa ska finnas bakom sista luckan. Inte för att Depend o2 lacket inte är fin men det känns lite trist som sista gåva måste jag säga. Både Lookfantastics The Beauty Secret och Skincitys kalender hade däremot helt fantastiska produkter i de sista luckorna så de var ingen besvikelse. 

I've gotten a lot of fantastic beauty gifts in my calendars this year so I'm really pleased with them. I realised that I had forgotten to take a photo of box 23 in my calendar from Kicks. It contained a small sample of a IsaDora foundation. I have to say that Kicks had a bit boring products in the boxes counting down to Christmas. You kinda expect to find the best in the last box. No that I didn't like the Depend o2 polish. It's cute and all but a bit boring for the last box. Both Lookfantastic's The Beauty Secret and Skincity's calendar did a fabulous though. The last boxes in their calendars didn't disappoint.
