Matcha läppar och naglar

Jag vet att många gillar att matcha nagellack och läppstift så här kommer ett tips på en perfect match!

Jag ska ärligt erkänna att jag väldigt sällan använder samma färg på läppar och naglar men ibland sker det av en slump. Som här med IsaDora Twist-up Matt i 70 Vintage Pink från vårens Riviera kollektion och CND Irreverent Rose från våren Art Vandal kollektion. Jag vet att många gillar att köra med samma färg på läppar och naglar så här kommer ett tips på ett riktigt snyggt par.

I know that a lot of people like to matcha their nail polish with their lipstick so here is a tip on a perfect match!

I'm willingly admitting that I'm not one of those that plan so that my lipstick and nail polish are in the same color but sometimes it happens by chance. Like this time when I wore IsaDora Twist-up Matt in Vintage Pink from the spring collection Riviera and CND's Irreverent rose from the spring collection Art Vandal. Since I know that a lot of people like to match their lip color with their nail polish I'm here giving you a little tip on a perfect match.

IsaDora Twist-up Matt lips var en av de fem finalisterna i kategorin Årets Lippie i Daisy Beauty Awards 2016. Färgerna ovan är från IsaDora:s vårkollektion Riviera så det var dock inga av dessa färger som jag testade inför Daisy Beauty Awards. IsaDora Twist-up matt lips är riktigt trevliga. De kommer i smidig pennform och eftersom de är twist-up så behöver de inte vässas vilket är ett stort plus i min värld. Avskyr att behöva vässa sminkpennor, särskilt tjocka sådana då jag aldrig lyckas hitta en pennvässar som faktiskt har rätt storlek…

IsaDora Twist-up matt lips har krämig formula som gör det lätt att få jämn fin färg på läpparna. De sitter riktigt bra i åtminstone några timmar och har fin pigmentering. Priset är dessutom bara 129 kr. Man bör ha mjuka återfuktade läppar när man använder dem för att de ska bli snyggt. De känns dock inte jättetorra på läpparna trots att de är matta och det gillar jag verkligen.

De fyra färgerna från Riviera kollektionen är 49. Bare ‘n beautiful (ovan), 51. Bohemian (ovan), 69. Nude Rose (ej bild) och 70. Vintage Pink (ovan). Jag gillar verkligen alla tre färgerna jag testa. Bare ‘n Beautiful har jag redan hunnit använda flera gånger.

Ledsen att bilderna på Bohemian och Vintage Pink är lite suddiga men man kan i alla fall se färgerna hyffsat.

IsaDora’s spring collection 2016, Riviera, contains four new Twist-up Matt lips in nice and easy to like colours that’s perfect for spring.

IsaDora Twist-up matt lips was one of the five finalists in the category Lippie of the year in this years Daisy Beauty Awards. These spring shades is new though and it wasn’t any of these that I tried for Daisy Beauty Awards.  Twist-up matt lips are really nice. They come in a handy pen shape that twists up so you don’t need a sharpener for them which if you as me is a big upside. I hate to have to sharpen my makeup pens and I never find a sharpener that fits my big pens. It feels like they are all different sizes… and non of them fits the sharpeners I have. 

These lippies have a nice creamy formula that makes it easy to get a nice even colour on the lips. They last nicely for at least a few hours and are nicely pigmented. The price is really nice too. Preferably you should have nicely moisturized and soft lips when you use they doesn’t look that good on dry and flaky lips. To be matte they aren’t that drying though which I really like cause I hate it when my lips feels dry. 

The four new Twist-up matt lips for the Riviera collection is 49. Bare ‘n beautiful (above), 51. Bohemian (above), 69. Nude Rose (not pictured) and 70. Vintage Pink (above). I really like all three of the colours I have tried. I’ve already used Bare ‘n Beautiful at more then one occasion. 

I’m sorry about the blurry photos of Bohemian and Vintage pink but at least you can get an idea about how the colour look.

Daisy Beauty Awards 2016 - Årets lippie

Jag satt som jag nämnt tidigare med i juryn för Årets lippie i Daisy Beauty Awards 2016. Nu är vinnarna presenterade och här nedan ser ni Årets lippie!

Nu när vinnarna av Daisy Beauty Awards 2016 är avslöjade (du kan läsa om alla vinnarna i Daisy Beauty 02+03 som finns ute i butik nu) så kan är det fritt fram för mig att avslöja vad jag jag tyckte om årets finalister. Min favorit var just Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick som också blev

 Årets Lippie.

Juryns motivering: "Kyssvänligt matt läppstift med skön känsla. Den revolutionerade hållbarheten, pigmentrikedomen och färgstyrkan föll helt enkelt juryn på läppen!"

Här ovan ser ni fantastiskt vackra Matte After Dark. Älskar den här färgen men ber om ursäkt för den slarviga appliceringen på bilden ovan. Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick har skön formula, fin hållbarhet och fantastiskt fin pigmentering. Tja som ni hör så håller jag med motiveringen i den jury jag satt med i. Vad det gäller Matte after dark som ni ser ovan så var den en färg som jag spontant inte skulle ha trott att jag skulle trivas i men efter att jag testat den så skulle jag ärligt talat kunna tänka mig att ha Matte After Dark på läpparna jämnt. Så snyggt!

Om ni undrar varför jag ser ut som jag har ramlat ur The Simpsons på ansiktsbilderna så beror det på ljuset i vårt kök, jag har inte fått gulsot....

Alla fem finalister i år är verkligen bra och jag rekommenderar alla fem. Vinnaren var trots det ett ganska enkelt valt. Att rangordna de andra var däremot inte lika enkelt då ingen av produkterna är dåliga men å andra sidan så om någon av dem hade varit de hade de förstås inte tagit sig till final. Lumene True Passion Lip Colour och IsaDora Twist up Matte Lip har jag inte visat här på bloggen men det kommer.

As I mentioned to you earlier I was one of the juries in the category Lippie of the year in  Daisy Beauty Awards 2016. The winners in all categories have now been presented and above you can see the Lippie of the year!

Now when the winners of Daisy Beauty Awards 2016 have been revealed (you can read all about them in Daisy Beauty 02+03 that can be found in stores now) it's safe for me to reveal my favourit. My favourite happens to be the winner - Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick!

What the jury said (very ruffly translated by moi):  "Kiss proof matte lipstick with a nice feeling. The revolutionary hold and the rich pigmentation was just the jury's taste"

Above you can see the amazing colour Matte After Dark. I love the colour but you'll have to excuse the sloppy application. Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick has a nice formula, nice hold and  fantastic pigmentation. Well as you can see I totally agree with what the jury I was in thought about the winner.  As to the colour Matte after dark that you can see above I didn't thought I would like the colour on but when I had tried it I can honestly say that I could wear Matte After Dark all the time. It's gorgeous! 

If you wonder why I look like I've fallen right out of The Simpsons on the face photos the it's because of our kitchen light. I haven't gotten the yellows....

All five finalists this year was really good and I would recommend all five of them. Despite that the winner actually was an easy choice. To rank the other four wasn't as easy since non of them was bad. Of course had any of them been bad they wouldn't have made it to the final. I haven't showed you Lumene True Passion Lip Colour and IsaDora Twist up Matte Lip here on the blog yet but don't worry I will.

Näst ut att testas av IsaDoras Sugar Crush lack blev härligt somriga Coral Crush. Ett vackert korallfärgat lack med lite guldskimmer. Jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillar IsaDoras sugar crush lack. Lättmålade, ger en fin struktur, sitter riktigt bra och är dessutom inte så himla svåra att ta bort. Priset är ju dessutom riktigt trevligt.

Next in line when I started to try out my IsaDora Sugar Crush nail polishes was the summery polish Coral Crush. A nice coral polish with a golden shimmer to it. I have to say that I really like IsaDora's sugar crush polishes. They are easy to apply, have a nice structure, stays on great is actually not that hard to remove. The price is really great too.

Har äntligen kommit mig för att testa ett av IsaDoras Sugar crush lack. Först ut blev det rosa lacket Candy Crush. 

Älskade det här lacket! IsaDoras wide brush gjorde det fantstiskt lätt att måla, resultatet blev ordentligt täckande redan efter ett lager och det torkade dessutom snabbt. Bäst av allt gillar jag förstås det otroligt fina resultatet.

Now I've finally gotten around to try IsaDora's sugar crush polishes. First out was the pink color Candy Crush. 

I loved this polish! The IsaDora wide brush made it really easy to apply, one coat was enough for coverage and the polish dried really fast. And of course I liked the color most of all. A lovely shimmering pink with texture in it.

Som jag nämnt tidigare så är det IsaDora som står för makeupen i årets Eurovision song contest i Malmö. Finalen är nu på lördag för er som missat det. 

Som efterfrågats kommer här lite bilder på sminket från eventet som jag tyvärr inte hunnit testa ännu.

 IsaDora har nyligen lanserat nail glitter vilket passar perfekt till naglarna i Eurovision-tider för glitter hör ju till eller vad säger ni? Jag har fått det vita White Diamonds och det svarta glittret Black Glam men det finns även ett blått och ett lila (som ser grymt läckert ut). Fick även det svarta lacket Gothic Black som kommer att passa perfekt som underlag för glittret.

Ögonskuggorna ovan har titeln Eyephoria. Sveriges vinnarbidrag i Eurovision förra året hetter ju Euphoria. Färgerna ovan heter Amethystic och Graphite Glam. Båda ser fantastiskt skimmrande och fina ut.



As I mentioned in an earlier blog post IsaDora is the makeup sponsor for this years Eurovision Song contest in Malmö. The final is this Saturday for those who's wondering. 

Some of you wanted to see the makeup I got at the event and here it is. I haven't had time to tried it yet though. 

IsaDora has newley released nail glitter which is perfect for the Eurovision nails. Eurovision is glitter, right? I got the white glitter White Diamonds and the black glitter Black Glam. It also comes in blue and purple and the purple looks lovely. I also got the black wonder nail polish Gothic black that will be perfect as ground for the glitters. 

I haven't tried the IsaDora twist-up gloss stick yet but I'm looking forward to trying them cause I love these kind of lip pens. The once I got that you can see in the pick above is called Toffee Pop and Pink Punch. 

The Eyeshadows is called Eyephoria. Swedens winning song in last years Eurovision song contest was called Euphoria hence the name of the shadows. The colors above is called Amethystic and Graphite Glam and they both look really shimmery.

Ikväll var jag inbjuden till event som IsaDora som National makeup partner of Eurovison Song Contest 2013 anordnade. På plats var makeupartisten Stephan Ulvund øien som kommer att lägga makeupen på alla artister under Eurovision Song Contest 2013 i Malmö och Krista Siegfried som kommer att framföra Finlands bidrag  i tävlingen - Marry me.

Det var en trevlig kväll där Stephan visade hur han la en snygg makeup-look på Krista och Krista framförde sin låt Marry me och även några andra låtar bl.a. 4 non Blondes What's up. Med mig hem fick jag lite snygga makeup produkter från IsaDora som ni så klart kommer att få se senare.

Tonight I was invited to an event that IsaDora was hosting as the National Makeup Partner of Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö. There was the makeup artist Stephan Ulvund øien that is going to make all the artists makeup during the contest and Krista Siegfried, Finlands contestant in this years Eurovision. 

It was a nice evening where Stephan showed us how he made Kristas lovely makeup and Krista performed her song in Eurovision, Marry Me, and some other songs one of them being 4 non Blondes What's up. I also got to take home some lovely makeup products from IsaDora that I will show you later.
