Daisy Beauty Awards 2016 - Årets lippie

Jag satt som jag nämnt tidigare med i juryn för Årets lippie i Daisy Beauty Awards 2016. Nu är vinnarna presenterade och här nedan ser ni Årets lippie!

Nu när vinnarna av Daisy Beauty Awards 2016 är avslöjade (du kan läsa om alla vinnarna i Daisy Beauty 02+03 som finns ute i butik nu) så kan är det fritt fram för mig att avslöja vad jag jag tyckte om årets finalister. Min favorit var just Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick som också blev

 Årets Lippie.

Juryns motivering: "Kyssvänligt matt läppstift med skön känsla. Den revolutionerade hållbarheten, pigmentrikedomen och färgstyrkan föll helt enkelt juryn på läppen!"

Här ovan ser ni fantastiskt vackra Matte After Dark. Älskar den här färgen men ber om ursäkt för den slarviga appliceringen på bilden ovan. Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick har skön formula, fin hållbarhet och fantastiskt fin pigmentering. Tja som ni hör så håller jag med motiveringen i den jury jag satt med i. Vad det gäller Matte after dark som ni ser ovan så var den en färg som jag spontant inte skulle ha trott att jag skulle trivas i men efter att jag testat den så skulle jag ärligt talat kunna tänka mig att ha Matte After Dark på läpparna jämnt. Så snyggt!

Om ni undrar varför jag ser ut som jag har ramlat ur The Simpsons på ansiktsbilderna så beror det på ljuset i vårt kök, jag har inte fått gulsot....

Alla fem finalister i år är verkligen bra och jag rekommenderar alla fem. Vinnaren var trots det ett ganska enkelt valt. Att rangordna de andra var däremot inte lika enkelt då ingen av produkterna är dåliga men å andra sidan så om någon av dem hade varit de hade de förstås inte tagit sig till final. Lumene True Passion Lip Colour och IsaDora Twist up Matte Lip har jag inte visat här på bloggen men det kommer.

As I mentioned to you earlier I was one of the juries in the category Lippie of the year in  Daisy Beauty Awards 2016. The winners in all categories have now been presented and above you can see the Lippie of the year!

Now when the winners of Daisy Beauty Awards 2016 have been revealed (you can read all about them in Daisy Beauty 02+03 that can be found in stores now) it's safe for me to reveal my favourit. My favourite happens to be the winner - Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick!

What the jury said (very ruffly translated by moi):  "Kiss proof matte lipstick with a nice feeling. The revolutionary hold and the rich pigmentation was just the jury's taste"

Above you can see the amazing colour Matte After Dark. I love the colour but you'll have to excuse the sloppy application. Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick has a nice formula, nice hold and  fantastic pigmentation. Well as you can see I totally agree with what the jury I was in thought about the winner.  As to the colour Matte after dark that you can see above I didn't thought I would like the colour on but when I had tried it I can honestly say that I could wear Matte After Dark all the time. It's gorgeous! 

If you wonder why I look like I've fallen right out of The Simpsons on the face photos the it's because of our kitchen light. I haven't gotten the yellows....

All five finalists this year was really good and I would recommend all five of them. Despite that the winner actually was an easy choice. To rank the other four wasn't as easy since non of them was bad. Of course had any of them been bad they wouldn't have made it to the final. I haven't showed you Lumene True Passion Lip Colour and IsaDora Twist up Matte Lip here on the blog yet but don't worry I will.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour

MAC har nu gett sig in i racet med flytande läppstift. Deras bidrag heter MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour och kommer i flera färger.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Personal Statement

Jag har en hatkärlek till matta flytande läppstift. Jag älskar hållbarheten men jag hatar den torra känslan i läpparna som matta läppstift ger. Men med tanke på hur bra de sitter och hur fint pigmenterade flytande läppstift är var jag ändå tvungen att införskaffa några MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour när de kom ut i butik. Ni kan vara lugna dessa är inte limited edition så är ni sugen på att testa så bör de inte vara några problem att få tag på.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour särskiljer sig inte speciellt mycket från andra flytande läppstift förutom på en punkt – applikatorn. Formen på applikatorn för färgen otroligt lätt att applicera snyggt. Formulan på dessa är trevlig och de är fint pigmenterade men de är de flesta flytande läppstift. Hållbarheten är bra men inte bättre än andra flytande läppstift jag testat. 

MAC:s Retro Matte Liquid lipcolour finns redan från det att de kom ut i 15 olika färger. Priset för dessa är 245 kr/st.

Gillar ni flytande läppstift?

MAC has now joined the liquid lipstick scene. Their contribution is MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour that’s available in a range of colours.

I have a love-hate relationship with matte liquid lipsticks. I love that they are long lasting but I hate the dry feeling to my lips that matte lipstick give. Considering how long lasting and pigmented liquid lipsticks are I still had to buy some MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour when they landed in store. You can relax, since these aren’t limited edition they should be easy enough to get a hold off if you like to try them yourself. 

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour doesn’t stand out much in the liquid lipstick crowd except in one point- the applicator. The shape of the applicator makes this super easy to apply nice and evenly. The formula is nice and so is the pigmentation but so are most liquid lipsticks. They are quite long lasting but so are other liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. 

MAC’s Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick are available in 15 colours so far.

Nudestix Lip + Cheek pencil Satan

Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil Satan är precis som det låter en penna för läppar och kinder. Jag älskar både namnet och färgen!

Jag fick Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil Satan i min Lookfantastic julkalender och passade på att använda den på julafton. Det här är en fantastiskt fin röd lippie i smidigt penformat som känns krämig och skön på läpparna och som sitter riktigt bra. Dessutom älskar jag namnet, Satan, passar mig perfekt. Hehe.

Jag gillar smink i pennformat då det är himla smidiga att ha med sig i väskan så jag är riktigt nöjd med att jag fick den här i min julkalender. Kommer defintivt att användas mer. Tror inte jag kommer att använda Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil Satan till kinderna däremot.

Nudestix Lip Cheek Pencil Satan is exactly what it sounds like. A pencil for lips and cheeks. I love both the name and the color of this one!

I got Nudestix Lip Cheek Pencil Satan in my The Beauty Secret Advent calendar from Lookfantastic this Christmas and decided it would be perfect to use on Christmas eve. It's a lovely red lippie in the form of an easy to use pencil that feels nice and creamy on the lips and that stays on good. I also love the name of the color, Satan, fits me perfect. Hehe. 

I like makeup in pencil form since they are perfect to just throw in the bag so I'm really pleased that I got this one in my Advent calendar. I will definitely be using this again. I might not use it on my cheeks though.

Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Scrub and Lip Care & Shine

Jag har skrivit om Oliva by CCS Earth förut. Jag gillar verkligen den här trevliga och plånboksvänliga serien. Nu har serien i alla fall utökats med ytterligare några produkter. De nyaste Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Scrub och Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Care & Shine som ni ser här ovan samt Oliva Earth Nail & Cuticle oil. På Daisy Beauty Expo fick jag med mig Oliva Earth By CCS Lip Scrub och Lip Care & Shine hem och dessa har använts flitigt sedan dess. 

Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Scrub 

Vad: Sockerskrubb för läpparna

Pris: 89 kr för 30 ml

Om produkten: Sockerskrubben innehåller Fairtrade-certifierad olivolja som ska göra läpparna mjuka och smidiga. 

Min åsikt: En riktigt trevlig sockerskrubb för läpparna som kommer i en lätthanterlig tub. Tryck ut lite av skrubben och skrubba försiktigt. Det behövs inte alls mycket av skrubben. En peeling för läpparna är nästan ett måste så här års när läpparna lätt blir torra och narriga, särskilt för oss som brukar använda läppstift då det inte är så snyggt att måla på läppstiftet på ett par nariga läppar. Priset känns överkomligt då det känns som att tuben kommer att räcka ett tag. 

Slutsats: En riktigt trevlig sockerskrubb för läpparna som ger släta och mjuka läppar, särskilt i kombination med Oliva by CCS Earth Care & Shine. 

Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Care & Shine

Vad: En vårdande lippie som även ger en lätt glans

Pris: 69 kr för 10 ml

Om produkten: Mjukgör med Fairtrade-certifierad olivolja och sheasmör och har en lättdoft av vanilj.

Min åsikt: Det här är verkligen en riktig toppenprodukt så här års. Oliva Lip Care & Shine kommer en trevlig liten tub. Den är dock ganska tjock i konsistensen så den är lite trög att få ut. Här räcker extremt lite produkt väldigt långt så det är väldigt lätt att trycka ut alldeles för mycket. Oliva Lip Care & Shine ger en lätt glans till läpparna och känns lite kladdig. Att den känns lite smått kladdig gör dock inte mig något. Den är nämligen suverän att använda nattetid. Läpparna känns mjuka och sköna länge efter applicering. Jag har fortfarande produkt kvar på läpparna när jag vaknar efter en natts sömn. Jag är annars en sådan som har en tendens att applicera läppbalsam ofta men med den här behövs inte det. Jag brukar inte använda den här under dagen när jag använder läppstift men för den som endast önskar en diskret glans på läpparna och ingen färg så kan den här självklart användas även under dagen.

Slutsats: Det här är definitivt en ny läppfavorit här hemma. Jag älskar att den håller läpparna mjuka och sköna så länge och den är verkligen toppen att använda under natten. 

Oliva Earth by CCS Lip Scrub har jag sett redan finns i butik och Lip Care & Shine tror jag kommer ut i slutet av februari. Tillsammans är dessa två produkter verkligen en riktigt trevlig duo.

The all new Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Scrub and Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Care & Shine that you can see above and Oliva Earth Nail & Cuticle oil. At Daisy Beauty Expo I got Oliva Earth By CCS Lip Scrub and Lip Care & Shine to try and I've used both of them plenty since then. 

Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Scrub 

What: A sugar scrub for the lips

About the product: The sugar scrub contains Fairtrade-certified olive oil that's suppose to make the lips perfectly soft. 

My opinion: A very nice sugar scrub for the lips that comes in a tube. Just push some of the scrub out of the tube and gently exfoliate your lips. A little goes a long way with this product. A good lip scrub is almost a necessity this time of the year when lips easily get dry and chapped. Especially for those of us that uses lipstick. Applying lipstick to dry and flaky lips tend to look bad. The price feels ok considering that it feels like this little tube will last for some time. 

Conclusion: A nice sugar scrub for the lips that gives soft and smooth lips. Especially when combined with Oliva by CCS Earth Care & Shine. 

Oliva by CCS Earth Lip Care & Shine

What: Lippie that cares for the lip and also gives a little shine

About the product: Is suppose to naturally softens the lip with Fairtrade-certified olive oil and shea butter. Has a soft vanilla sent.

My opinion: This is a really great product that's perfect for this weather.  Oliva Lip Care & Shine comes in a nice little tube. It's pretty thick and therefore a bit hard to get out of the tube. A very small amount of this product is more then enough so you have to be careful not to push out to much of the product. Oliva Lip Care & Shine gives a light shine to the lip and feels a bit sticky. The sticky feeling isn't a problem for me though cause I use this at nigh. It's perfect to apply before bed time cause the soft feeling to the lips last long. Normally I reapply lip balm very often but that's not necessary with this one. When I apply it before bedtime my lips still feel like I just applied it when I wake up next morning. That has never happen before. I don't use this day time when I use lipstick but if you prefer a natural lip with just a little shine then you could use this during the day as well. 

Conclusion: This is definitely a new favorite lip product in my home. I love that the feeling of the product last so long and it's really great to use at night.

I've already seen Oliva Earth by CCS Lip Scrub in stores and I think that Lip Care & Shine will be available in late February. Together these two products are an amazing duo.

I maj 2015 kom Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer ut i butik i Sverige. Då fanns det 16 färger att välja mellan. Sex av dem kan ni se bilder på här. I oktober 2015 släpptes ytterligare åtta färger: Mocha Pop, Papaya Pop, Raspberry Pop, Rebel Pop, Party Pop, Sugar Pop, Blush Pop och Kiss Pop. Jag fick hem arbetsprover av Rebel Pop, Party Pop, Raspberry Pop och Kiss Pop men har ännu inte hunnit visa alla av dem på i ett och samma inlägg så här ovan kan ni se hur alla fyra ser ut på. Jag gillar verkligen alla fyra färgerna. 

In May of 2015 Clinique released their Clinique Lip Colour + Primer in stores around Sweden. Then you could choose between a total of sixteen colors. You can see six of them here. In October of 2015 they released eight new colors: Mocha Pop, Papaya Pop, Raspberry Pop, Rebel Pop, Party Pop, Sugar Pop, Blush Pop and Kiss Pop. I got PR testers of Rebel Pop, Party Pop, Raspberry Pop and Kiss Pop but I haven't showed you all four of them in one post yet so above you can see how all four of them look on. I really like all four colors.

MAC Giambattista Valli Tats

 Face: Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundatin in light, Dior Nude Air Compact Powder in light beige, Viva la diva Dream Cheek Blush & Highlighter (Spring break and Golden highlighter). Eyes: Pürminerals Secret Crush eyeshadow palette and Viva la Diva Most wanted dream volume mascara. Brows: Dior Sourcils Poudre in ash blonde. Lips: MAC Giambattista Valli in Tats.

Mac släppte för ett tag sedan fem matta läppstift i samarbete med modedesignern Giambattista Valli. Ljusrosa Bianca B, periskofärgade Margherita, starkt ceriserosa Tats, röda Charlotte och mörkt körsbärsröda Eugenie. Jag passade på att köpa på mig det starkt ceriserosa Tats innan det blev slutsålt och det kan ni se på bilderna ovan.

A while ago MAC released five matte lipsticks in collaboration with the fashion designer Giambattista Valli. The light soft pink Bianca B, peach Margherita, bright hot pink Tats, red Charlotte and the dark cherry red Eugenie. I decided to buy the bright hot pink Tats before it sold out and above you can see how it looks.

MAC:s kollektion Le Disko finns nu i butik och eftersom jag har svårt att motstå allt som glittrar och skimmrar (ok jag är egentligen inte så förtjust i glittriga lippies) så var jag bara tvungen att klicka hem lite produkter från den här kollektionen. 

MAC:s Le Disko Dazzleshadows skimmrar och glittrar framträder väldigt olika beroende på hur ljuset ligger på. Ska bli riktigt roligt att leka lite med dessa. 

Sedan kunde jag inte, trots att jag egentligen inte gillar glittriga lippies, motstå MAC Le Disko Dazzleglass i Cherry Popping och Boys go crazy. 

Har ni köpt något från denna kollektion?

MAC's Le Disko collection is now available in Sweden. Since I have a hard time saying no to anything that shimmers and glitters (ok not completely true. I actually don't like glitter lippies) I couldn't resist to buy some products from this collection. 

The MAC Le Disko Dazzleshadows are very shimmery and glittery and the color comes out looking very different depending on the light. I'm looking forward to playing around with these. 

I also had to buy two MAC Le Disko Dazzleglass (even though I normally don't like glitter lippies). The once I fell for was Cherry Popping and Boys go crazy.

Vad: Läppstift och primer i ett

Pris: 235 kr för 3,9 gram

Om produkten: Läppstift med en formula som ger både fyllig färg och fungerar som en utjämnande primer.

Min åsikt: Jag älskar den här formulan. I vanliga fall använder jag alltid primer under läppstift då jag annars tycker att det brukar kännas för torra på läpparna. Eftersom dessa skulle innehålla primer så testade jag dessa utan och det känns härligt krämiga på läpparna och går på jämnt och fint. Alla färgerna jag har testat håller riktigt bra men hållbarheten varierar lite mellan de olika färgerna. De mörkare färgerna skulle jag säga sitter lite bättre än de ljusare men även de ljusare klarar av att man äter och dricker utan att de nöts bort speciellt snabbt. Hylsorna känns stadiga och hållbara och det är smidigt att man kan se direkt på hylsan vilken färg läppstiftet har.

Slutsats: Det här är helt klart en ny läppstifts favorit hos mig. Jag gillar att jag inte behöver grunda med en primer och att det känns krämiga och sköna på läpparna. Dessutom ger de hållbar färg. Jag har redan bestämt för att köpa det här läppstiftet i fler färger.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer

Vad: Lipstick and primer all in one

About the product: Lipstick with a formula that gives both colour and works as a primer.

My opinion: I love this formula. Normally I always uses a primer when I wear lipstick since I think lipstick makes my lip feel a bit dry, which I hate. Since these are suppose to work as a primer as well I decided to try them without adding a primer first and these really feels nice and creamy on the lips. They go one nice a smooth and it's really easy to get an even result. All colours that I tried lasted a long time but I would say that the darker shades last a bit longer than the lighter one does. Even the lighter shades held just fine for drinks and food without wearing of that bad though. The packing of these lipsticks feel sturdy and I like that you can see the colour of the lipstick without having to open the.

Conclusion: This is definitely a new lipstick favourite of mine. I like that I don't have to use a primer before applying the lipstick and that they feel nice and creamy on the lips. They are also quite longlasting so you don't need to re-apply it all the time. I will be buying more colours of the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer lipstick.
