Tidigare i veckan besökte jag Mildh Press som hade öppet hus för inseason visning av höst/vinter 2015. En rolig nyhet är att Mildh Beauty press numera representerar Smashbox i Sverige. De representerar även Bioderma som numera finns på apoteket i Sverige för er som missat det.

Det bjöds på en trevlig frukost och jag fick en chans att spana in både höstmode och skönhetsprodukter från de märken som Mildh press representerar. Ett trevligt besökt med andra ord.

Earlier this week I visited Mildh Press (a PR-firm) when they had inseason open house for fall/winter 2015. Great news is that Mildh Beauty Press now is representing Smashbox in Sweden. They also represent Dermarome that have been available in Sweden for some months now. 

They treated us to a lovely breakfast and I got the chance to check out the fall fashion and the beauty brands they represent. I had a great time.

 The press and bloggers lounge was a great idea. I really, really needed to rest my feet after hours of walking around meeting all the exhibitors. Bad day to wear heels... But the nice sofas at Daisy Beautys lounge saved my day. And my feet.

I missed Jane Iredale at Daisy Beauty Expo this spring but this time I didn't. 

Idag och imorgon går Hud & kosmetikmässan 2015 av stapeln i Kistamässan. Hud & Kosmetik arrangers av SHR, Sveriges Hudterapeuters Riksorganisation, och mässan pågår i år samtidigt som Apotek & Egenvårdsmässan så man kan besöka båda mässorna. 

Hud & Kosmetik vänder sig till branschfolk och inträde är gratis för dem som arbetar inom branshen. Man kan anmäla sig på mässans hemsida. Där kan ni även hitta en lista över alla utställare. Jag blev otroligt glad när jag som bloggare fick en pressinbjudan till mässan tidigare i sommar. Tyvärr hade jag bara möjlighet att delta idag. Hade väldigt gärna velat gå imorgon med men kunde bara ta ledigt en dag. 

Det var strax över 70 utställare på plats som man kunde besöka tror jag. Då har jag inte räknat med utställarna på Apotek & Egenvårdsmässan som hölls i anslutning till Hud & Kosmetik och som man också hade möjlighet att besöka. 

Utöver att man kunde besöka alla utställare och tala med dessa och titta och klämma på massor med spännande hudvårdsprodukter och smink så fanns det även möjlighet att göra diverse olika hudvårdsbehandlingar och lyssna på intressanta seminarier. 

Idag kunde man bl.a. lyssna på Pär Svahnberg, kemidoktor och ingrediensexpert som anlitas av bl.a. Apoteket AB. Hans seminarium hette Parabener, p-piller och paprika - hormonstörande eller inte?

Imorgon ska Socialdepartementet vara på plats och tala om skönhetsutredningen. Det är ett seminarium som jag gärna hade gått på om jag hade kunnat delta imorgon med. Imorgon går dessutom SM i makeup av stapeln.

På mässan kunde man hitta massor med spännande produkter som t.ex. ansiktsmasker med guld från Jamela. Man kunde testa deras underögonmask på plats så det sprang omkring folk med små guldmasker under ögonen. M Picaut skincare visade upp lite spännande produktnyheter och på plats kunde man även hitta produkter från I love my muff (några gissningar på vad det är för produkter?). Man kunde få naglarna lackade på mer än ett ställe om man ville det. Jag spanade in Leighton Dennys nagellack, ett märke som jag faktiskt inte provat, och CND som jag har provat. Swatches på lack från CND:s höstkollektion kommer upp på bloggen inom kort.

Jag besökte gänget från Dermarome och kikade på Decleors senaste samarbete med klädmärket Dagmar, luktade på Bliss nyaste body butter Cassis + Sandalwood som luktar otroligt gott, kikade på julklappstips från Matis och tittade närmare på bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Foundation. Jag har fått hem Blemish Remedy i ett pressutskick redan men nyansen jag fick hem är för mörk för mig så det var intressant att få se produkten på riktigt så jag kunde se lite vilken färg jag skulle behöva. Jag hade dessutom sådan tur att man i Daisy Beautys Lounge fick med sig en sample av Blemish Remedy hem så då kunde jag välja en i en färg som passar mig så jag kan testa den riktigt innan jag skriver om den. Jag lyckades däremot inte stöta på Kicki Norman, chefredaktör för Daisy Beauty, i deras lounge idag.

Det var roligt att det var så många naturliga och ekologiska hudvårdsmärken på plats. Jag blev väldigt nyfiken på c/o Gerd's Cloud berry facial oil. Jag kommer ju från norrland och då kan man ju inte annat än gilla hjortron, eller hur? Självklart fanns det massor med fler utställare på plats än de jag har nämnt här men det vore omöjligt att skriva om alla tyvärr.

Ja som ni kanske förstår så hade jag inte direkt långtråkigt idag. Jag är fullmatad med information. Jag kommer självklart att berätta mer om de olika produkterna jag fick med mig hem från mässan längre fram. Det enda tråkiga med dagen var väl vädret. Det regnade och blåste otroligt mycket när jag gick till mässan så trots paraply var jag genomblöt när jag anlände. Men jag torkade så det kändes som ett rätt litet problem.



Today and tomorrow the Hud och Kosmetik 2015  (Skin and Cosmetics 2015) is taking place in Kista. Skin & Cosmetic is arrange by SHR, the Swedish Skin therapist's Organization, this year the event is occurring at the same time as Apotekt & Egenvårdsmässan. So if you want to visit both exhibitions there is no problems.

Skin & Cosmetic is targeting professionals and there is no entrance
fee for people working in the field. At the home page of the fair you can sign up. You may also find a list of all exhibitors. I was actually surprized and happy when I as a blogger received a press invitation to the fair earlier this summer. I could unfortunatly  only participate today. I would have liked to attend tomorrow aswell but I could only get one day off from work.

I think there were a little bit more then 70 different exhibitioner to visit excluding the exhibitioners associated with the apoteket fair that also were possible to visit.

You could of course visit all the different exhibitors and talk to the them and try a massive amount of different exiting skin care products and make up. It was also possible to try out some skin care treatments and listen to interesting seminars.

Today you could listen to Pär Svahnberg, a chemistry PhD and ingredient expert who has been hired by Apotektet AB. He talked about Parabens, birth control pills and paprika - stressful for the hormone system or not?

Tomorrow the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs will be presenting the legislative proposal about how to legislate the beauty industry. I would have like to listen to that presentation if I could have been present tomorrow.
 Tomorrow the Swedish championship in make-up is also taken place.

A lot of exiting products could be found a the fair, for instance face masks containing gold from Jamela. You could test their under-eye-mask at the exhibit so a lot of people were running around with tiny gold-masks under their eyes. M Picaut skincare showed some intersting new products. At the exhibit you could also find products from "I love my muff" (Any clues about what kind of products?).At more than one location you could get your nails polished. I looked at Leighton Dennys nail polishes, a brand that I actually never have tried, and CND which I have tried. Polish Swatches from CND's autum collection will be up on the blog in a short while.

I visited the gang from Dermarome and looked at Decleors latest collaboration with the clothing brand Dagmar, Bliss latest body butter Cassis + Sandalwood had a marvellous scent, I looked at some christmas gift advise from Matis and took a closer look at bareMineral's Blemish Remedy Foundation. I have already received Blemish Remedy in a press dispatch but the shade I received were too dark for me therefore it was interesting to observe the product in reality to be able to decide which shade I will be needing. I actually had such a luck that a sample of Blemish Remedy where distributed at the Daisy Beauty Lounge so I could choose a colour that really fits me before I write about it. I was however not successful in meeting up with Kicki Norman, cheif editor of Daisy Beauty, in their lounge today.

I really found it interesting that so many skincare brands were present with products that were organic or ecological. c/o Gerd's Cloudberry facial oil really made me curious. Given the fact that I was born and rasied in the northen parts of Sweden the appriciation of Cloudberry is given fact, right? Of course there where a lot more exhibitors then the ones mentioned by me. It is unfortunately not possible for me to write about everybody. 

My day has not been boring one, as you probably understand. I have received a lot of interesting information. I will of course give more information about the different products I have received today later on. The only boring aspect of the day was the weather. Rain and a heavy wind on my way to the exhibit made my clothes wet although I had an umberella I was soking wet when I arrived. But I dried up so it felt like a minor problem.

Vad: Spray on tan

Om produkten: Beskrivs som en enkel snabbtorkande self-tanning spray för en jämn och snabb fuskbränna. Ska jobba med huden och pigmentet och på så sätt göra att fuskbrännan ser väldigt naturlig ut.

Min åsikt: Vision haircare spray tan kommer i en sprayflaska och är lätt att applicera överallt. Den luktar ganska mycket men med BUS mått ändå inte så farligt. Produkten är ofärgad vilket gör att den inte färgar av sig på kläder och sängkläder vilket jag defintivt tycker är ett plus. Nackdelen är väl att det är svårt att se var man applicerat den men resultatet blir riktigt jämnt och fint. Den ger inte så mycket färg men å andra sidan blir jag sällan brunare än så här så ja den ger ett naturligt resultat. Huden känns lite kladdig ett tag efter applicering. Är man ute efter mycket färg finns det nog andra BUS produkter som är bättre.

Slutsats: Går snabbt och enkelt att applicera. Ofärgad så den färgar inte av sig vilket jag tycker är ett stort plus men den ger inte speciellt mycket färg. Även om färgen blir naturlig och jämn så hade jag önskat att den gav lite mer märkbart resultat än den gjorde. Jag har svårt för doften och med tanke på hur lite resultat den ger så tycker jag inte det är värt att lukta som jag gör efter applicering.

Vision haircare Spray tan

What: Spray on tan

About the product: Described as a easy to use, fast drying self-tanning spray that's suppose to fast give you a even fake tan. The product is suppose to work with your skin and pigment and hence give you a natural tan in the perfect shade for you.

My opinion: Vision haircare spray tan comes in a spray bottle that makes it easy to apply all over. It has a quite strong scent but as a self-tanning product it's not that bad. The product is uncolored so it doesn't stain your clothes or bed lining which I think is great. The con might be that it makes it hard to see where you have applied it. The result is very nice and even so I guess it doesn't matter that much that it's a bit hard to see where you have applied it. It sure didn't give me much color but on the other hand I usually don't get more tanned than this so the result sure is natural. The skin feels a bit sticky for a while after application. If you want a more noticeable tan I think you can find other self tanning products that you will like better.

Conclusion: The product is fast and easy to use. It's uncolored and doesn't stain clothes or bed lining which I think is a big pro for this product. Even though the result is even and natural I still would have wanted it to be a bit more noticeable than this. I'm not a big fan of the smell and I don't think this little color is worth smelling like this.

Messy hair bow

Jag har väldigt sällan mitt hår utsläppt men jag har inte så mycket ork att fixa med håret heller så oftast blir det bara en enkel fläta eller en hästsvans. Ibland är det dock roligt att variera sig lite och då funkar alltid en slarvig hårrosett som går snabbt och enkelt och fixa. Det fick det bli igår. Har varit en väldigt lugn helg här för det var så himla mycket på jobbet den här veckan så jag var helt slut... Därav den dåliga uppdateringen. Förhoppningsvis så lugnar det ner sig lite snart. 

I very seldom wear my hair down but I'm not much for spending a lot of time on my hair either so most times I just wear a simple braid or pony tail. Sometimes you want to do something different though and then a messy hair bow is perfect. It's fast and easy to do. That's what I wore yesterday. I have just been home taking it easy this weekend cause it was a very stressful week at work so I was totally beaten... Hence the bad update. I hope it cools down a bit soon.

Daisy Beauty

Förra veckan var jag förkyld och hängig så det hände inte så mycket roligt men i fredags landade senaste Daisy Beauty i brevlådan (i affär idag) och avsnitt två av deras web-serie No bullshit publicerades. Last week I had a cold and was feeling really under the weather. Hence it wasn't a very fun week but on Friday the last issue of the beauty magazine Daisy Beauty. Even if you don't understand Swedish you should check it out just to get a look at Kicki Normans amazing lipstick.

Vad:  Mask/gelplåster för kinder

Om produkten: Ska återfukta och lugna röda kinder. Ska sitta på i 20-30 minuter.

Min åsikt:  Söt design på förpackningen med lite Rödluvan vibbar. Gelplåstren fäster bra och håller sig relativt bra på plats. Känns svala och sköna på kinderna och lite återfuktande men inte så mycket mer än så. Jag har bara testat denna en gång så det är möjligt att den vid mer frekvent användning skulle ge resultat på röda kinder men vid första användning kan jag inte säga att jag noterade någon skillnad. Känns inte som en måste ha produkt direkt men den var kul att testa.Det finns vanliga ansiktsmasker som också minskar rodnad så en speciell gelmask för kinderna känns inte helt nödvändig.

Slutsats: Kul att testa men inget jag skulle köpa igen. 


Choosy Milk Lip mask 

Vad: Läppmask i form av ett geleplåster

Om produkten: Innehåller vitamin E collagen och hyaluronic acid och ska återfukta läpparna och göra dem mjukare. Kan även användas på torra bröstvårtor... Ska sitta på i 5-30 minuter.

Min åsikt: Den här är tunnare än kindgelen så man får vara lite försiktig med den så den inte går sönder. Den sitter fint på plats och känns sval och kladdig. Läpparna känns återfuktade men effekten känns inte så långvarig. Jag har lite problem med att klistra igen munnen på det här sättet... Jag hade min på i ca; 30 minuter (samma som kindmaskerna) och på samma sätt som med kindmasken så kan jag inte säga att jag upplevde något resultat efter en användning. Kanske ger mer resultat vid frekvent användande. Jag kommer nog att hålla mig till läppbalsam när jag får torra läppar.

Slutsats: Jag är mer av en läppbalsam-tjej när det gäller att råda bot på torra läppar. Det här känns mest knasigt om ni frågar mig. Men ja, helt klart lite roligt. Man ser helknasig ut när man använder denna.


Pure Skin hand care pack

Vad: Handkur i form av plasthandskar med kräm

Om produkten: Återfuktande handmask i form av ett par platshandskar fyllda med gel

Min åsikt: Händerna känns mjuka och lena efter användning. Trevligt att ge händerna i lite extra omtanke men känslan håller inte i sig speciellt länge. Finns handkrämer som gör mina händer mjukare och mer återfuktande än dessa handskar. Handskarna är ganska stora och sitter därför inte på plats så bra. Men absolut en trevlig handmask. När man ändå lägger ansiktsmask kan man ha dessa på händerna och även ge händerna lite extra omtanke. 

Slutsats: Trevlig, återfuktande handmask som kanske inte ger något fantastiskt resultat men som ändå kan vara trevlig när man vill visa sina händer lite extra omtanke. Handskarna hade kunnat få vara lite mindre så att de satt på plats lite bättre. Handskarna innehåller ordentligt med återfuktande gel. Min favorit av dessa tre produkter.

What:  Gel patches for the cheeks

About the product: Gel patches that's suppose to hydrate and soothe the cheeks. Leave patches on for 20-30 minutes. 

My opinion:  Cute design that gives me Little red ridinghood vibes.  The gel patches sticks on to the cheeks and stays in place quite well. Feels nice and soothing and a bit moisturizing on but not much more than that. I've only tried these once so maybe you will notice more of a difference if you use these regularly. This doesn't feel like a must have product for me but it was definitely fun to try. I Since their are face maskes that reduces redness I don't think patches for the cheek is that necessary.  
Conclusion: Fun to try but not something I will buy again.


Choosy Milk Lip mask 

What: Lip mask in form of a big lip shaped gel patch.   

About the product: Contains vitamin E, collagen and hyaluronic acid  and is suppose to hydrate the lips and make them softer. Can also be used on dry nipples... Leave on for 5-30 minutes.

My opinion: This patch is thinner and more fragile than the cheek patches I tried so you'll have to be a bit careful when handling these.It stays in place quite nice and feels cold and soothing. The lips feels hydrated afterwards but the effect isn't very longlasting. I also have a bit of a problem with the fact that I'm patching my mouth shut. It feels a bit weird. I had this on for approximately 30 minutes, the same as the cheek patches and like with the cheek patches I can't say I think it had that much of an effect. Same here though, I've only tried it once so maybe the result is great with frequent use, I don't know. I for one think I will be sticking to lip balms when it comes to treating dry and chapped lips.
Conclusion: I'm more of a lip balm girl when it comes to taking care of dry and chapped lips. This for me was mostly a cocky product. But, well it was a bit fun. You look totally crazy wearing this. 

Pure Skin hand care pack

What: Hand care mask in the form of a pair of plastic gloves.

About the product: Hydrating hand mask in the form of plastic gloves filled with gel.

My opinion: My hand feels nice and soft after use. It's nice to give the hands some extra care but the feeling doesn't last that long. There are hand creams that makes my hands softer and more moisturized than these gloves. The gloves are a bit big and therefore has a tendency to fall off. Still a nice hand mask that I think would be perfect to use when you're giving yourself a facial treatment. Why not give the hands some extra care at the same time?

Conclusion: A nice, moisturizing hand mask that doesn't give any fabulous result but that still can be nice when you want to take extra care of your hands. The gloves could have been a bit smaller so they stayed on better. These gloves contains a great amount of hydrating gel inside.

Vad: Matta nagellack

Pris: Ca 55 kr

Om produkten: Nagellack med mattfinish

Min åsikt: Alla färgerna på nagellacken i Viva la Divas vår och sommarkollektion Dreams är riktigt fina. Lacken är fint matta. Jag tycker att penseln är lite för smal vilket gör att formulan på dessa matta nagellack är lite svår att arbeta med. Blir lätt lite randigt och ojämnt resultat vilket syns väldigt tydligt pågrund av den matta finishen. Om det blir ojämnt går det dock relativt bra att fixa till det genom att måla ett lager till men jag hade önskat att penseln hade varit lite bredare. Med tanke på priset är så pass lågt som det är så är det dock inget som stör. 

Slutsats: Prisvärd och fina matta nagellack men med lite smal pensel som gör dem lite svårmålade.

About the product: Nail polish with matte finish

My opinion: All the shades in the Viva la Diva Dreams collection are really nice. The finish is nicely matte. Unfortunately the brush is a bit thin which makes them a bit hard to work with. The result of this is that the manicure can get a bit streaky which is showing very well with the matte finish. This isn't a very big issue though cause it's quite easily fixed by applying another coat of polish to even it out. I do which the brush had been a bit wider. Considering the really low price of these this isn't that big of a deal for me. 

Conclusion: Price worthy and pretty matte nail polishes with a bit of thin brush that makes them a bit hard to work with. 

I'm not sure if Viva la Diva is sold outside of Sweden.

Tidningen Daisy Beauty har börjat med web-TV där man diskuterar skönhetsfakta. Perfekt för er som är intreserade av skönhetsfakta men som av någon anledning inte vill eller kan köpa tidningen. 

 – Jag blir så jävla förbannad på allt snömos och tramsig marknadsföring som finns i skönhetsbranschen! Normala människor skulle dö av sekundärskam om de läste de pressmeddelanden som medföljer exempelvis en parfymnyhet. Tidningen Daisy Beauty har ägnat över fyra åt att skära i detta beautyfluff med skarpt intellekt och vass penna, nu är det dags att vi reder ut begreppen även i tv-form, säger Kicki Norman, Daisy Beautys chefredaktör.

Check it out! Första avsnittet handlar om håroljor och var i alla fall enligt mig väldigt intressant. De talas om bl.a. silikoner och vilka som kan vara skadliga. Silikoner fyller en funktion i håroljor och kan vara ofarliga (och dagens silikoner skiljer sig mycket från de första silikonsprayerna för hår som kom när jag var ung) men det finns även vissa silikoner som har bedömts kunna vara skadliga. Nedan kan ni se vad alla avsnitten kommer att handla om.

The Swedish beauty magazine Daisy Beauty has started a web-TV show where they talk about beauty facts and beauty myths. A great initiative if you ask me. The first episode is now live at their Youtube channel. The first episode is about hair oils and which silicones you should stay away from. Their are silicones that's not harmful and their are those who can be dangerous for you. Really interesting information. Unfortunately the web-TV show is in Swedish.

Min åsikt: Jag är egentligen inte så förtjust i foundation. Missförstå mig rätt. Jag är precis lika förtjust i en jämn fin hudton som villken annan kvinna som helst men jag tycker det är lite jobbigt och tar lite tid att applicera. Den här är dock fantastiskt smidig. Förpackningen ser ut som en puderdosa och innehåller en svamp med foundation och en liten rosa appliceringskudde. Känns kanske lite mer ohygienisk än foundation på flaska men otroligt mycket snabbare och enklare att applicera. 

Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundation ger lätt till mediumtäckning beroende på hur mycket du applicerar. Den ska ha en halvmatt finish men jag tycker den ger fantastiskt fin lyster. Den sitter på plats bra och ger ett väldigt naturligt och inte alls kakigt intryck och känns otroligt härlig. Jag gillar verkligen denna. Helt klart en ny favorit hos mig som jag testat flitigt nu under sommaren.

Slutsats: Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundation är en fantastiskt trevlig foundation som går snabbt och lätt att applicera. Den ger ett otroligt fint resultat och är smidig att slänga ner i handväskan. Priset är lite högre men då får du med en refill. Den här passar perfekt för alla som inte vill behöva lägga så mycket tid på makeupen men ändå önskar en fin, jämn bas. Jag har redan planerat att köpa den här när den kommer ut i butik. 

Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundation kommer ut i butik i Sverige i september. 

Cushion foundations has been around in countries like Korea for a long time but is a quite new phenomena on the Swedish beauty market. That's way I'm happy that Pürminerals soon will be releasing their Air Perfection Cushion Foundation on the Swedish market.

About the product: Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundation is a creamy fluid mineral foundation that comes in cushion form. SPF 50. Air Perfection Cushion Foundation comes in three shades: Light, medium and tan.

My opinion: I'm actually not a big fan of foundation. Don't get me wrong a love a nice even skin tone just as much as any other girl. It's just that I think it takes too much time and effort. But this cushion foundation is great. The packing looks like a powder compact and contains a cushion with foundation on it and a pink applicator. It feels a bit more unhygienic than a foundation in a bottle but it's goes so much faster and easier to apply.

Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundation gives light to medium coverage depending on how much product you apply. It's suppose to have a semi-matte finish but I think it gives a lovely glow. It stays on fine and gives a very natural result. I like this foundation and it feels lovely on. This is definietly a new favourite of mine that I've been trying out a lot this summer. 

Conclusion: Pürminerals Air Perfection Cushion Foundation is a really nice foundation that's fast and easy to apply. It gives a nice result and is perfect to throw in the handbag. The price is a bit on the higher side but then you also get a refill. This is the perfect foundation for anyone that doesn't want to spend too much time and effort in to their makeup but still have a flawless appearance. I'm already planning on buying this when it hits the store shelf in Sweden.

Sommarpresent från Militus Medical

Förra veckan fick jag hem en fin sommarpresent från butiken Militus Medical. Verkligen otroligt gulligt av dem och present kändes väldigt genomtänkt då produkterna verkligen passar mig perfekt. De hade till och med lyckats skicka mig ett nagellack som jag inte redan hade vilket inte är någon lite bedrift.=) 

Så kul med det lilla manikyrsetet och glasfilen från Pfeilring. Har varit nyfiken på att testa deras grejer. Lacket från Deborah Lippmann ser jättefint ut och kommer testat inom kort och då kommer jag självklart att visa bilder. 

Last week I got a summer gift from the store Militus Medical. So nice of them and it really feels like they'd put some thought in to the gift cause the products are just so me. They'd even manage to send my a nail polish that I didn't already own which isn't an easy thing to do.=)

I'm really happy about the small manicure set and the glass file from Pfeilring cause I've been wanting to try their products. The Deborah Lippmann nail polish looks really nice and I'll been trying it out soon and then of course I'd be showing you photos of it.
