Idag var jag på Sverige-lanseringen av Make-up studio. Make-up studio är ett holländskt proffsmärke och märket finns i över 70 länder och nu även i Sverige. Från början kommer märket endast att säljas i deras webbutik. Som ni kan se så har de fantastiskt många produkter att välja från. Eftersom make-up studio är ett proffsmärke så priser är lite över medel men de ska ha bra kvalitét. Kan dock inte uttala mig om ifall det stämmer då jag inte hunnit testa produkterna jag fick med mig hem ännu. Jag föll mest för Lumiére ögonskuggorna som verkar otroligt vackert skimmrande. Jag skulle kunna köpa de melerade bara för att de är så fantastiskt vackra att titta på. Som små konstverk. Ja, jag gillar vackra skinande saker.

Today I attended the launch of Make-up studios products in Sweden. Make-up studio is a professional make-up brand from the Neatherlands that's available in more than 70 countries and now it's available in Sweden too. In the beginning the brand will only be sold in their own web shop. Since it's a professional brand the price is slightly over medium in price range but they products are suppose to be high quality. Since I haven't had time to try the products I got today just yet I can't tell you if I agree or not. My favorite product by just looking at them is the lumiére eye shadows that looks like they have an amazing shimmer. The marbled once looks like art. I just love marbled shadows. I could by them just because they are so beautiful to look at. Yes I do love pretty shiny things.

Om produkten: All-in-one tvätt som skonsamt ska tvätta rent och ge näring till hud och hår.

Min åsikt: Har endast använt denna till kroppen då jag bara använder salongsprodukter till mitt hår så jag kan inte uttala mig om hur den fungerar som schampo. Produkten kommer i en pumpflaska i plast som ser ut som en klassisk flytande handtvåls flaska. Fina färger på etiketten men förpackningen i sig ser kanske inte så lyxig ut. Pumpflaskan gör att den är lättdoserad och är väldigt smidigt att använda i duschen. i belivyu all in one hair & body wash har en lätt och trevlig doft av aprikos som jag verkligen gillar. Den ger ett mjukt fint lödder och känns inte speciellt uttorkande. Jag gillade den här.

Slutsats: Kanske inte så lyxigt utseende på denna produkten men den är helt klart trevlig och jag skulle absolut kunna tänka mig att använda denna igen även om jag kanske inte tror att jag kommer att beställa den från Memeshop. Var dock en trevlig produkt från deras Birthday box som jag absolut är nöjd med.

My opinion: I have only used this as a body wash cause I usually only wear professional saloon products for my hair and I don't like these combination products when it comes to hair. So I can't say anything about how it works as a shampoo. The product comes in a bottle with a pump that looks just like a classic liquid hand soap bottle. Not the most luxury packing but the label is colorful and cute and the pump makes it easy to dose and to use in shower. i belivyu all in one hair & body wash has a nice soft apricot scent that I really like. It ladders nicely and doesn't feel drying. I liked this product.

'Conclusion: Maybe not that luxury looking product but it's nice and I could use this again. I might not like it so much that I think I will order it especially from Korea but it was a nice product to get in the Birthday box and a product that I was satisfied with.

REDDVILLE & AIG

Fick hem ett She Social Vip-utskick från REDDfree och deras samarbetsparter AIG. Förutom en tampongask med AIG motiv så fick jag även boken Näthat kränkningar & rättigheter av Mårten Schultz. Roligt att få den boken tycker jag då Mårten var min handledare när jag skrev mitt exjobb.

I got this VIP-dispatch from REDDfree's VIP-blogger network She Social. It contained a box of free tampons and a book about infringement online. I was really glad to get this book since it's written by the professor that was my adviser when I wrote my master thesis. 

The campaign is a collaboration with an insurance company that has a insurance that protects you if you get subject of hate or threats online. It also protects you you become the subject of identity theft. A very important and relevant campaign this day. Unfortunately I must say. It's never ok to illegally  threaten or slander another  person. Not in real life and it's not ok online either. But it does happen and then it's good to know your rights and what you can do about it.

 Har varit mycket att göra denna vecka så nu är det fruktansvärt skönt med helg. Veckan som kommer kanske det blir lite lugnare på jobbet för två dagar den här veckan ska vi på planeringsdagar och bo på konferenshotell. Kan säkert bli trevligt. 

It has been crazy much to do this week so now I'm really enjoying the weekend with some days off. I hope it will be a little less to do the week that comes cause two days we are going away to a conference hotel to plan for next year. Could be nice.

The World’s Largest Nordic Food Festival Pops Up in Los Angeles

För ett tag sedan var det nordisk matfestival i New York.  I New York besöktes festivalen av ca; 4000 besökare och 200 journalister. Nu är det snart Los Angeles tur att få prova på den nordiska matkulturen. Den 20, 21 och 28 oktober är det dags för den allra första NORTH Pop Up Festival i Los Angeles. Pop up eventet är mindre än festivalen i New York sker i samarbete med det nordiska livsstils showroomet Austere. Roligt att den nordiska matkulturen får lite international uppmärksamhet tycker jag.

Nordic chefs and personalities recently wowed New York foodies at the annual NORTH Nordic Food Festival. Through over 40 events, visited by some 4,000 New Yorkers and 200 journalists, ranging from pop up dinners to street food fests and cooking classes - The Big Apple was taken over by more than 30 Nordic chefs who demonstrated why Nordic cuisine has been called “the most influential culinary movement since the 1960’s”. And this fall, it is Los Angeles’ turn to experience Nordic cuisine first hand at the first ever NORTH Pop Up Festival on October 20th, 21st and 28th.

While the New York festival spans several locations and multiple events daily, NORTH Los Angeles is a smaller and more intimate series of exclusive events. Through a collaboration with Nordic lifestyle showroom Austere in Downtown Los Angeles - NORTH LA pop up events will be exclusively held at the sleek 5,000 sq ft designer space where several of the most famous fashion and interior designers from Scandinavia are featured.

   NORTH Los Angeles will pay host to three intimate dinner events at Austere, of which two will be invite only and open to media and industry. The first dinner happens on October 20th, when Michelin starred chefs Anton Bjuhr and Jacob Holmstrom of the celebrated Gastrologik Restaurant in Stockholm will take invited press and VIP’s on an exciting tasting through the creativity of Stockholm. The evening after, on Oct 22nd, the space opens up to the public for a lavish fifteen course dinner with limited tickets available. Merging music and food and seating less than 30 people, it will be one of the most exclusive dining experiences in Los Angeles this year.

   The final event of this boutique festival happens on October 28th, when local chefs will work exclusively with Norwegian seafood - exploring the culinary bounty of the cold North Atlantic and Norwegian fjords. Preceding the seafood tasting, guests will be taken on a tour of the exciting Norwegian Icons design project by Austere Showroom founder Fredrik Carlström, who will talk about the process of finding long lost design treasures in Norway and bring them to life in a contemporary setting. This event is invite only.

Alla plaggen passade perfekt. 

Jag lät min man gissa vilka plagg jag hade valt och vilka som hade valts utifrån mitt profilval och hans gissning var att bonusplaggen var de jag hade valt så jag antar att det är ett rätt bra betyg utfrån vad jag brukar ha för kläder i vanliga fall.

I tried out the August Golden tote which for you how aren't familiar with it is a tote filled with clothes. They have a new tote every month but it's not a subscription service so you just buy the tote the months you feel like it. Some items sells out fast though so make sure to be early if their is a special clothing item you're lusting for. They have to sizes of the tote, a small one for $ 49 with 2-3 items (value up to $200) and a big one for $149 with 5-7 items (value up to $600). I choose the big tote and got to choose two items for myself. I choose the two items on the top. A black printed dress and a pair of black and white printed pants.  The bonus items I got was a grey open front fine knit cardigan, a green printed tank top with a plain grey back, a short sleeved green blouse with white print and black long sleeved top with lace elbow patches. The bonus items are choose from which style profile you choose. I said in my profile that I will wear any color as long as it's cute but I have to admit that I wouldn't have bought the green short sleeved blouse myself. I've actually don't have a lot of any green color in my wardrobe. The blouse was the item I liked the least but I have to admit that I liked it more after I've tried it on. I love the grey cardigan and the tank top and the long sleeved top is actually great since I have very few long sleeved tops in my wardrobe. All items fit perfect. 

I let my husband guess which items I had choose myself and which ones were picked out based on my profile of choice. He guessed that I had picked out the bonus items myself so I guess that means that the items isn't that far away from what I usually wear.

Jag har länge velat testa Kat Von D:s makeup produkter men tyvärr säljs de inte i Sverige. Inte ens på Sephora här. Gulliga bloggerskan Venus Loves Virgo skickade mig dock en helt fantastiskt fin överraskning från Kat Von D, nämligen Kat Von D:s True Romance eyeshadow palette. Blev så himla glad. Superfin ögonskuggepalett med fina neutrala färger som kommer att användas flitigt framöver. Är så sugen på att leka lite med denna men vill inte sminka mig när jag är förkyld... 

Känner ni inte redan till Venus Loves Virgo så tycker jag absolut att ni ska spana in hennes blogg. Hon har en fantastisk skönhetsblogg och hon är dessutom världens gulligaste! Tack för presenten sötnos. 

For a long time now I've wanted to try out the Kat Von D makeup line. Unfortunately the brand isn't sold here in Sweden. Not even at Sephora. The sweet Venus Loves Virgo sent me this Kat Von D True romance eyeshadow palette as a gift though. I'm so happy with this palette. Lots of cute and neutral eyeshadow shades that I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of. I'm really looking forward to trying this out but I will have to wait a bit since I don't want to wear makeup when I'm having a cold....
