Så här blev min Alla hjärtans dags mani i år. Rosa och hjärtan. Perfekt till Alla hjärtans dag.

Lacken jag använde  kommer båda från Depend 7Day. Som bas använde jag Depend 7Day Hidden Rainbow, ett av lacken för våren 2016, och för stampingen använde jag Depend 7Day Girly Joy. Stampingplattan jag använde kommer från Pueen. Egentligen hade jag tänkt göra ett annat hjärtmönster men det lyckades inte så jag fick använda mig av ett enklare mönster. Som ni märker är jag ingen stampingexpert men övning ger färdighet brukar man ju säga så jag kanske blir bättre på de.

This is how my Valentine's Day mani turned out this year. Pink and hearts. Perfect for Valentine's Day.

The polished I used are both from Depend 7Day. As base for the mani I used Depend 7Day Hidden Rainbow, one of the spring 2016 shades, and for the stamping I used Depend 7Day Girly Joy. The stamping plate I used is from Pueen. I was planning to do another heart stamping but that design was to complex and I didn't succeed with the stamping so I had to go with this easier design instead. As you might understand I'm no stamping expert. But practice makes perfect so maybe I will get better at stamping in the future.

Så ni som följt min blogg ett tag vet att jag sällan ägnar mig åt nail art. Har helt enkelt inte tålamod att sitta och pilla med sånt. Men ibland när jag är ledig kan jag göra någon extremt snabb och enkelt manikyr med mer än bara ett lack. Den senaste tiden har det blivit att jag kombinerat blått och guld. 

If you been following my blog for a while you know I don't have the patience to do nail art but sometimes when I'm on vacation or have some time off from work it happens that I do some really, really simple manicures with more than one polish. Lately I've been combining blue and gold.

Christmas manicure with Ciaté

Ciaté skickade hem några lack till mig för ett tag sedan så till fjärde advent passade jag på att göra en enkel julmanikyr med Ciatés Boudoir. På accéntnageln använde jag mig av Ciaté caviar pearls Christmas tree caviar och och klockorna är en nail water decal från Pueen.

Ciaté sent me some nail polishes a while ago so I used Ciaté Boudoir to create a Christmas inspired manicure for the fourth Sunday of Advent. On the accént nail I used Ciaté caviar pearls Christmas tree caviar and the the Christmas bells is a nail water decal from Pueen.

Jag har berättat att OPI skulle släppa OPI Color Paints nu till sommaren och tänkte att det var dags att tala om vad jag tycker om dessa lack. OPI Color Paints är en serie nagellack speciellt framtagna för nail art. Jag fick dessa från OPI i våras och min första tanke var väl att det här var en rolig idé men kanske inte riktigt något för mig som helt saknar tålamod för nail art. Jag älskar nagellack (om någon nu skulle ha missat det) men nail art har jag inte alls tålamod för. Jag bestämde mig i alla fall för att ge dessa en chans när jag nu ändå har dem och jag måste säga att jag faktiskt har haft roligare med dessa än jag trodde att jag skulle ha. Det är faktiskt ganska enkelt att skapa rolig nail art, eller i mitt fall åtminstone något som påminner om nail art,  med dessa även om man är ovan. Dessutom tycker jag att de färgade Color Paint lacken är grymt läckra bara som de är eller bara målade som de är över Silver Canvas.

 Jag kommer nog absolut att leka lite mer med dessa och se vad man kan göra för skoj med dem. 

I've told you that OPI would release a new collection called OPI Color Paints this summer and I thought it was time that I told you my impression about these. OPI Color Paint is a series of polishes especially designed for nail art. I recieved these from OPI earlier this year and my first thought was that well this might be a fun collection but maybe not for me since I lack the patience to do nail art. I love painting my nails and I love nail polish but nail art isn't my cup of tea. It requires more time and patience then I have. Well since I'd gotten these I thought that I might at least give them a try, right? And I have to admit that I actually had a lot of fun playing around with these. It's actually not that hard to create nail art, or in my case something that at least slightly reminds of nail art, with these. Even if you're a nail art newbie. I also think the OPI Color Paints looks really nice on their own or just painted over the OPI Silver Canvas.

OPI Color Paints are available in stores around Sweden now. 

I think I definitely will plays some more with these and see what else fun you can do with these.

Nu när det är påsk har jag passat på att använda några av mina gula nagellack. Överst ser ni Sunshine Pop från China Glaze med fimo kycklingar, sedan en pond manikyr med Lutien från Doctor Lacquer och längst ner så har jag gjort en fjädermanikyr (endast en nagel) med Pat-a-cake från Mentality Nail polish som grund.

Har ni använt gult nagellack eller makeup i påsk?

During Easter I decided to put some of my yellow nail polishes to use. On top you can see Sunshine Pop from China Glaze with fimo chickens on my accent nail. Second from top is a pond mani with Lutein from Doctor Lacquer and the last one is a feather mani (I only did one accent nail) with Mentality Nail Polish in Pat-a-cake as ground.

Vad: Set med tre nagellack för att skapa gradient nails

Min åsikt: Mitt kit innehöll guldiga nagellack. Ett beige guldigt nagellack för bas, ett guldskimmrande lack för steg två och ett glitterlack i klar bas för steg tre. Lacket som skulle användas till steg ett målade jag två lager istället för ett av för att få det mer täckande. Alla lacken var trevliga och lättarbetade och resultatet tyckte jag blev helt ok för ett första försök. Kanske inte helt nödvändigt att köpa ett sådant här kit, du kan skapa samma resultat med lack du redan har men om du inte har så många lack så är kitet inte så dumt för att få tre lack som passar bra ihop.

Slutsats: Ett roligt men kanske inte helt nödvändigt kit för att skapa gradient nails. Perfekt om du inte själv orkar leta reda på lack som passar  bra ihop. Relativt enkelt. Kiss finns att köpa hos Kicks och Åhléns. Kicks har dock inte Gradation kitet i sin webshop.

What: A kit for creating a gradient manicure

My opinion: My kit contained gold colored nail polishes. The base for step one is a beige polish with gold shimmer in it. I used two coats instead of one of this to get a bit more coverage. Step two is a gold shimmer and step three is a clear based glitter polish. All three polishes is nice to work with and I think the result was ok for my first try at a gradate. This kit might not be a must have since you easily can do this with polishes you already own but if you don't have that many polishes and you want three shades that works great together this kit isn't such a bad idea.

Conclusion: A fun but not necessary kit to create gradation nails. Perfect if you don't want to go out and look for three polishes that work together yourself. Relatively easy nail art to create.

Känner ni till Tmart? De har ärligt talat det mesta du skulle kunna tänkas vara ute efter. Kläder, skönhetsprodukter, elektronik, leksaker och en massa annat.

Jag fick hem lite nail art produkter från dem att testa. De jag fick hem var ett GDCoco caviar manicure set och en 8 wheel 3D Fimo Slice Nail Art Decoration Set.

GDCoco Caviar manicure

Vad: Caviar manicure kit

Pris: 52.06 kr

Om produkten: Ett kit bestående av ett nagellack, en flaska med kaviarpärlor och en liten tratt

Min åsikt: Det går inte att bortse från att utseendet på det här kitet är en exakt kopia av Ciatès caviar manicure. Lacket var faktiskt riktigt trevligt att arbeta med och hyffsat täckandet. Kaviarpärlorna är fina och storleken på flaskorna gör att det här kitet räcker till flera kaviarmanikyrer, även om du som jag har gjort på bilderna ovan, och väljer att köra kaviarmanikyr på alla naglar. Den medföljade minitratten gör det enklare att hälla tillbaka överflödiga pärlor i flaskan igen så att inga pärlor går till spillo. Ett riktigt fint kaviarmanikyr set och jag älskade färgen på det kit jag fick hem även om jag inte tycker att det är lila utan blått.

Slutsats: Prisvärt och fint kaviarmanikyr set.


8 wheel 3D Fimo Slice nail art decoration kit

Vad: Set med åtta hjul med fimo 3D nail art figurer.

Pris: 60.62 kr

Om produkten: Åtta hjul med olika 3D Fimo nail art figurer i varje hjul.

Min åsikt: Ett riktigt roligt sätt som innehåller massor med olika figurer. I det här kittet fick jag blommor, djur, frukter, fjärilar, smilies, blad och hjärtan.

Jag har aldrig testat sådana här tidigare och var rädd att det skulle vara svårt att få dem på plats och att de inte skulle sitta kvar så bra men de var faktiskt lättare att få på plats än jag trodde. Det enklaste är att placera dem med en pincett men det går faktiskt att bara lägga dem på plats med fingrarna också. Målar man med ett top-coat över så sitter de riktigt fint. Jag har ännu bara hunnit testa med citrusskivorna och den söta lilla ankan som ni ser ovan. Ankan körde jag på min påskmanikyr som jag redan visat er men ni får se den igen här ovan. Ett väldigt enkelt sätt att göra manikyren lite enklare. Håller mycket bättre än t.ex. stickers som jag testat. De här kommer jag definitivt att testa mer.

Slutsats: Ett perfekt startkit för dig som vill exprimentera med nail art.

What: Caviar manicure kit

Price: 7.66$


About the product: A caviar manicure kit containing one bottle of nail polish, one bottle with caviar pearls and a small funnel.

My opinion: This kit obviousely looks very similar to the Ciaté caviar manicure kits. The nail polish was actually very nice to work with and had ok coverage. The pearls are cute and the size of the bottles is quite big so you will be able to do some caviar manicures with this kit, even if you do all of your nails like I've done in the photos above. The small funnel makes it easy to put excess pearls back into the pearl bottle again so ther will be no spill. I really nice caviar manicure kit. I love the color I got even though I think it's more blue than purple.

Conclusion: A nice caviar manicure kit at a nice price



8 wheel 3D Fimo Slice nail art decoration set


What: A kit containing 8 wheels of 3D Fimo slices

Price: 9.27$

My opinion: A really fun kit that contained lots of different kind of 3D Fimo slices. I got flowers, animals, butterflies, fruits, hearts and leafs in this kit. I've never tried 3D Fimo slices before and I was worried that it would be a bit tricky to get them in to place and I actually thought they would fall off very easy but they were much easier to get in to place than I had thought. The easiest is to use a tweezer to place them but you can actually put them in to place with your fingers as well. I used a top coat over them and they stayed on just fine. I've only have timed to try the citrus once and the little duckie that I used on my easter manicure but I will definitely try these more times. This is a very easy way to make a fun manicure and the stayed on much better than for example stickers I've tried before.

Conclusion: A great starter kit for anyone that wants to get in to nail art.
