 The lovely spring collection from Dior Kingdom of colors. I absolutely adore this collection! The Dior Vernise blossoming top coat ( the mint glitter topper) is a definitive must have this spring.

 New foundations and powders from Dior Nude air. These felt really light weight and I would have loved to try the foundation but unfortunately they didn't have a shade light enough for me with them so I've only tried the powder. Tried the foundation on my hand though and it felt very nice so I think I will have to invest in the foundation if I can find the right shade for me.

 Nail polish portfolio from Dior. Needless to say it would be a dream to have this at home...

 I got a scent analysis from Farao at the Dior boot. Apparently my signature scent would be Dior J'adore.

 The new face for Dior in Sweden. No just kidding. But I did get some makeup done by their makeup artist.

 Björn Axen was there and at their boot you could get your hair styled. Or just check out their products. They also had a lecture that you could attend.

 I also checked out Elizabeth Arden where I got to choose a lip gloss. My choice was the shade Intriguing Violet.

 At pürminerals you could check out their liquid veil 4-in-1 spray foundation and the Jupiter Ascending palette. The lipgloss in the palette has a built in light.

 Medik8 is a cosmeceuticals brand from USA that hasn’t been available in Sweden before. They decided to do their launch in Sweden at the Daisy Beaury Expo 2015 yesterday. I'm really curious about their products so I'm really looking forward to trying out the products I got yesterday.

 Depend showed up their 7day polishes. It's a hybrid between regular polish and gel polish. You don't need a UV-lamp for these but you do need the small start kit with cleaning, base coat and top coat. Can't wait to try these out and see if they are any good. You could get your nails done with these at the expo yesterday but I had already done my nails at another boot so I passed on that.

 Some Juicy Couture perfumes. I piced up a sample of their Golden Couture.

 The French ecological beauty brand Melvita isn't available in Sweden yet but hopefully they will found their way in to the Swedish market soon. They where at the Daisy Beauty Expo though so we could check out the brand. Their flower waters sounds really interesting.

I also got my nails done by Tara from Frida Selkirk Nailstyling. The nails I got matched my outfit for the day perfectly.

I går gick det första, men förhoppningsvis inte sista, Daisy Beauty Expo av stapeln på Lundqvist & Lindqvist Tändstickpalatset här i Stockholm. Daisy Beauty Expo 2015 anordnades av tidningen Daisy Beauty och det var 100 journalister och bloggare inbjudna till expot. 

Jag är så glad och tacksam över att jag fick vara del av detta otroligt välorganiserad arrangemang. Kicki Norman och de andra på Daisy Beauty har verkligen gjort ett fantastiskt jobb med att styra upp detta. Tack!

Programmet för dagen bestod av ett antal intressanta och för dagen passande föreläsningar av bl.a. Apoteket AB, Björn Axén och SHR:s ordförande Annica Joensuu. På plats fanns även massor av kunniga och hjälpsamma utställare som t.ex. Dior, Depend, Jane Iredale, bareMinerals, bliss och pürminerals. Man kunde bli sminkad, få naglarna fixade och håret stylat under dagen. Som ni kan se ovan så passade jag på att få naglarna fixade och bli sminkad. Både hos Dior och pürminerals faktiskt. Jag fick även lösögonfransar från Kiss fastsatta men tyvärr glömde jag ta någon närbild där de syns.

Gårdagen var helt igenom lyckad och Kicki och de andra på Daisy Beauty var supertrevliga. Sedan fick jag så klart chansen att träffa ett helt gäng med andra skönhetsintresserade tjejer och killar. Både gamla och nya bekantskaper.Så jag var glad och nöjd, men trött, när jag kom hem igår.

Det enda tråkiga var väl att jag, trots karta och guidad tur av Kicki, lyckades missa att besöka Dermalogica och Jane Iredale. Men jag tänker inte grämas över det utan istället vara glad över allt jag faktiskt lyckades se och allt jag lärde mig under gårdagen.

Med mig hem fick jag massor med produkter att testa så det kommer att komma en hel del av recensioner av produkter från Daisy Beauty Expo framöver. 

Yesterday I attended the first but hopefully not the last Daisy Beauty Expo. For all of you how are not from Sweden and not familiar with Daisy Beauty I guess a presentation is at place. Daisy Beauty is the only Swedish magazine how have beauty as their main focus and yesterday they arranged Daisy Beauty Expo 2015. It was a expo with 100 invited journalists and bloggers. 

I'm so glad and grateful that I got to attend this amazingly well organized event. Kicki and the others at Daisy Beauty had done an amazing job putting all this together. Thank you!

On the schedule for the day was lot of lectures in fitting subjects by interesting companies. Their were also a lot of helpful and able-bodied exhibitors from brands like Dior, Depend, Dermalogica, Jane Iredale, bareMinerals, bliss and püreminerals. You could get your nails done, get your makeup done by makeup artists and get your hair styled. All at more than one place. As you can see I got my nails done and I also got my makeup done. Actually both by Dior and pürminerals. I also got some false eyelashes from Kiss. Unfortunately I forgot to take a close up pick on my eyes so you could see the false eyelashes I wore.

Yesterday was an success if you as me. Kicki and the others from Daisy Beauty were really sweethearts and I got the chance to spend the day with a whole bunch of beauty loving women and men. Both old and new acquaintances. I was happy and satisfied but tired when I got home yesterday. 

The only regret I have is that I, decpite the fact that I had a map over all the exhibitors and got a guided tour by Kicki when I arrived, managed to miss the Dermalogica and Jane Iredale boot. Well I'm not going to feel sorry 'bout myself for that. Instead I'm happy about everything I actually got to check out and everything I learned during the day. 

I got a lot of product to try yesterday so their will be a lot of reviews of products from Daisy Beauty Expo to come.

Vintern i Sverige brukar kunna bjuda på ganska otrevligt väder så ett par ordentliga vinterstövlar är ett måste. Särskilt om man avskyr att frysa om fötterna vilket jag gör. I år har det dock inte varit mycket snö här i Stockholm ännu men jag misstänker att den kommer att komma. Under julhelgen kom det i alla fall lite snö vilket gav mig ett perfekt tillfälle att testa mina nya SOREL Tivoli II stövlar.

När jag blev kontaktad med frågan om jag var intresserad av att styla en outfit med SOREL:s stövlar så nappade jag genast då jag inte hade lyckats hitta de perfekta vinterstövlarna ännu. Jag valde dessa smidiga SOREL Tivoli 11 och har verkligen inte ångra det. Mina fötter har nog aldrig varit lyckligare. De är verkligen det perfekta moderna vinterstövlarna som passar lika bra i skog och mark som i stan. Jag gillar att de är lite smalare och smidigare i modellen.

Winter in Sweden can be a bit tough with a lot of snow, ice and cold weather and of course a lot of slush so a pair of tough winter boots are a must have. Especially if you are like me and hate having cold and wet feet.  This year it hasn't been much snow in Stockholm though but I'm suspecting it's just a matter of time. We did get some snow during the Christmas weekend though which was the perfect time to try out my new SOREL Tivoli II boots. 

When I was approached and asked if I would like to style a pair of SOREL boots I jumped at the chance since I hadn't yet found the perfect pair of winter boots. I can say that I haven't regret that decision. My feet have never been happier. I choosed the SOREL Tivoli 11 boots and they are the perfect modern winter boots that works equally well when walking in the woods or hiking in the mountains as they do in the city. I like that these boots are a bit slimmer in the design.

Silver & Gold make-up

  Viva La Diva Hot lips duo lipstick i Elektra inspirerade till dagens makeup look. Elektra är dock extremt skirt och ger tyvärr nästan bara ett lätt skimmer till läpparna. Inte alls så täckande som på produktbildern (se detta inlägg). Guld halvan av läppstiftet ger lite mer färg än silver sidan. Det går inte heller att bygga upp detta läppstift på ett enkelt sätt på grund av dess formula. Jag kompletterade läppstiftet med lite ögonskugga i guld och silver för att få till i alla fall lite av guld + silver läppar. Naglarna målade jag med OPI:s Rollin in Cashmere och Unfrost my heart. Till ögonen använde jag Half Baked och Chopper från Urban Decay Naked 2 paletten och Lime Crime liquid eyeliner i Silver.

Viva La Diva Hot Lips duo lipstick in Elektra was the inspiration for todays gold and silver duo make-up. Unfortunately Elektra is very, very sheer and only gives a light shimmer and almost no color to the lips. Not at all as the picture it in the promotion pictures that you can see here. I've boosted the colors a bit with some gold and silver eyeshadows for the color to at least show a bit like gold and silver for these photos. The lipstick is really hard to build up too because of it's formula. The gold part of the lipstick gives a bit more color than the silver side. On my nails I'm wearing OPI Rollin in Cashmere and Unfrost my heart. For the eye make-up I used Half Baked and Chopper from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and Lime Crime liquid eye liner in Silver.

Invisibobble

Fick hem lite Invisibobbles från Invisibobble Sverige för ett tag sedan och tänkte att jag skulle berätta vad jag tyckte nu när jag testat dem lite.

Vad: Hårsnodd

Pris: ca. 59 kr

Om produkten: Invisibobble ska behandla håret ömt, hindra avtryck i håret, minska huvudvärk, passar alla. Blir ej våt, eller lös och ska vara lätt att ta loss.

Min åsikt: Invisibobble ser roliga ut, som gamla telefonsladdar eller nyckelringarna man hade när man (jag) var liten. De är ganska stora så det är inte direkt diskreta. Eftersom de saknar metalklämmor så sliter de inte på håret på samma sätt som klassiska hårsnoddar. Dock så trasslar mitt hår väldigt mycket vintertid och då trasslar det in sig rejält i dessa vilket innebär att de inte alls blir speciellt lätta att ta av tyvärr. Det gäller å andra sidan för de flesta hårsnoddar inte bara dessa. Det som är trevligt med Invisibobble är att de sitter kvar i håret utan att man behöver dra åt dem som hårt vilket innebär att de inte trycker mot huvudet så det är väldigt bekväma. Priset är också helt ok. Varje förpackning innehåller tre Invisibobble och jag misstänker att dessa kommer att hålla länge.

Slutsats: En riktigt bra hårsnodd som inte sliter på håret. De har dock inte lyckats peta ner Blax från första platsen hos mig men lite variation är alltid roligt så jag kommer absolut använda dessa. Kan även tänka mig att de skulle gillas av barn då de är färgglada och roliga.

I got some Invisibobbles from Invisibobble Sweden a while back and thought I would share my opinion about them now that I've tried them out a while.

Invisibobble

What: Hair elastics

About the product: The uneven pressure produced by invisibobbles allows for the hair to be held strongly in the ponytail without being too tight. This gives individual hairs more space within the ponytail than they would have when wearing a normal hair band. They don't put pressure on the scalp and thus preventing headache from to tight hair bands. Due to its smooth surface and clean shape, hair isn't suppose to entangle in the invisibobble as easily as it does in regular hair ties. Doesn't get wet and therefor works great for a day at the beach or at the gym.

My opinion: The Invisibobble looks a bit funny. Like and old telephone cord or like key chains that was popular when I was a kid. They are a bit big so they're not that invisible when worn. Since they are totally smooth without any metal clamp they don't wear as much on the hair as regular hair elastics. Over to the part where hair doesn't get entangled as much in these as in ordinary hair elastics well my hair really hate winter and very easily gets tangled this time a year and yes it does get tangled up in the Invisibobble making it hard to remove. Of course this time a year my hair tangles up in almost everything so it's not just the Inivisbobble. The nice thing about the Invisibobble is that it stays in place without sitting tight so they're really comfortable. The price is ok and I don't think they will wear out that fast. One box contains three invisibobbles. 

Conclusion: A really good hair elastic but it hasn't managed to take the first place as my favorite hair elastic from Blax. These are good though and a little variation is always fun so I will be using these. Since they are colorful and fun I guess kids could like them too.

It's so easy to spend way too much money on all the lovely beauty gift sets out their. IDUN minerals is a Swedish mineral cosmetic brand at only sold in Sweden but if you don't live in Sweden both Nelly.com and eleven.se do ship to other countries. Ciaté has lots of lovely gift sets. I almost bought the Ciaté Candy Cane house for myself. How can resist this cute box of perfumed Ciaté mini paint pots? I would love to see what a cream that expensive would do to my skin but I'm  quite sure theirs no cream in the world that I would think was worth what this one cost. But if you really want to spoil someone well then this is definitely the box for you.

Kissed By Eco var snälla och skickade mig två Aromi Matte Liquid Lipsticks att testa. Jag valde färgerna Electric Orchid och  Forbidden Fuchsia. Aromi var inte ett märke som jag var bekant med sedan tidigare så det var spännande att testa dessa. 

Aromi Matte Liquid Lipstick

Vad: Matt flytande läppstift

Pris: 169 kr (hos Kissed by Eco)

Om produkten:  Handgjort flytande läppstift från Aromi. Aromis flytande läppstift appliceras som ett läppglans och torkar till matt yta på ungefär en minut. Aromi är certifierat av både Leaping Bunny och PETA.

Min åsikt: Aromis flytande läppstift appliceras som ett läppglans och torkar sedan och blir matt. De är otroligt välpigmenterade och sitter fantastiskt bra. De är fantastiskt fina både matta som de är eller med glans över om man föredrar det. Med glans över så kommer de dock att lämna märken på glas och inte sitta riktigt lika bra som det gör om man använder dem som de är. Om man som jag har lite svårt för känslan av matta läppstift så rekommenderar jag att man använder en primer under. Läppenna är nödvändigt då de annars tenderar att kunna blöda lite. Stort plus för att de är ekologiska, veganska och cruely free. 

Slutsats: Aromi Matte Liquid Lipstick håller en fin kvalitet. Ger ordentligt med färg och har bra hållbarhet. Jag gillade verkligen dessa och är grymt sugen på Flamenco Red och Preppy Red också.

The web shop Kissed By Eco was kind and sent me two Aromi Matte Liquid Lipsticks to try. I choosed the shades Electric Orchid and Forbidden Fuchsia. Aromi wasn't a brand I was familiar with before so I appreciated a chance to try these.

Aromi Matte Liquid Lipstick

What: Matte Liquid Lipstick

About the product:
Handmade liquid lipstick from Aromi. Aromi matte liquid lipstick is applied as a lip gloss and dries matte. Aromi is certified by both Leaping Bunny and PETA. 

My opinion: Aromi Matte Liquid Lipstick is applied as a gloss and then dries matte. They are well pigmented and stays on for hours. They look great both matte as they are or worn with a gloss on top. I you're like me and don't like the feeling of matte lipsticks I suggest using a primer underneath. A lip liner is a good idea since they have a tendency to bleed a bit. I really like that they are ecological, vegan and cruelty free. 

Conclusion: Aromi Matte Liquid Lipstick is a great quality lipstick. It gives nice color and stays on great. I really liked these lipsticks and would love to try them in Flamenco Red and Preppy Red too.

New in: Invisibobbles and Tangle Teezer

Fick hem ett fint utskick från Invisibobble med lite saker att testa. Ska bli riktigt spännande att testa Invisibobble för jag har länge varit nyfiken på dessa hårsnoddar. Samma företag som är distributör av Invisibobble i Sverige är även distributör av Tangle Teezer så jag fick även deras nyaste compact styler vilket passar perfekt då jag tyvärr lyckats tappa bort min gamla compact styler. Den kompakta modellen är perfekt att ha med på resan. Jag kan ju inte vara utan min Tangle Teezer som ni som följt min blogg ett tag kanske redan har märkt då jag skrivit om denna eminenta utredningsborste vid ett flertal tillfällen. En stor favorit hos mig.

Men åter till Invisibobble. Även ni läsare kommer att få chansen att testa dessa.
