New Years makeup

För ett tag sedan visade jag er några limited edition lös ögonfransar från Depend. De med svarta rhinestones passade jag på att använda på nyårsafton. Det blev mycket fokus på ögonen på nyår med smokey eyes i midnattsblått kombinerat med gråsvart och glitter och lösögonfransarna. Läpparna blev diskretare i Babors Ultra Soft Lip Colour i 41 Cozy Mauve toppat med Dior Addict gloss i Tiara. På nyår måste man ju nästan gå all in på glitter.=)

A while ago I showed you some limited edition false eye lashes from Depend. On new years eve I used the once with black rhinestones. A lot of focus was on the eyes. I created a midnight blue and dark grey/black glittery smokey eye and completed it all with the false eye lashes with black rhinestones. The lips was a bit more discrete with Babor's Ultra soft lip colour in 41 Cozy mauve topped with Dior addict gloss in Tiara. On new year you almost have to go all in with the glitter, right?=)

 Babor  Ultra size mascara Volume & definition 03 blue metallic is a quite discrete midnight blue metallic so it shouldn't scare off those of you who who doesn't like blue eye makeup.

 Jag har visat er Babors höstkollektion tidigare men tänkte att jag även skulle visa en väldigt enkel vardagsmakeup som jag gjorde med produkterna som jag fick hem i ett pressutskick.

 Jag älskar designen på produkterna som känns riktigt lyxig. Nagllacket Babor Ultra performance nail color 42 just red är ett otroligt fint djuprött lack. Första bilden på flaskan är mest likt den riktiga färgen. På swatchbilderna ser lacket lite mer julrött ut än det egentligen är. Min kamera var inte riktigt på min sida när jag skulle fotografera swatchbilderna.

Babor Cozy Colours Face and eye collection är en otroligt fin palett med sex ögonskuggor och ett cremerouge. Färgerna är kanske inte de mest spännande men passar fint för en enklare vardagsmakeup och med den mörkblåa skuggan går det även att skapa en sotad look. Här valde jag dock att göra en otroligt diskret ögonmakeup och låta fokuset vara mer på läpparna.

Jag gillar Babor Ultra Soft lip colour 41 Cozy mauve som har en krämig formula och mycket pigment. Jag trivs dessutom väldigt bra i färgen som sådan.

 Babor  Ultra size mascara Volume & definition 03 blue metallic är en skimrande midnattsblå mascara som jag var riktigt nyfiken på. Den är så pass mörkblå på att den på håll ser nästan svart ut men tittar man nära så ser man att den egentligen är mörkt blå.

I've showed you the fall/winter collection from Babor already but I thought I'd show you this simple everyday makeup look that I created with the products sent to me.

I love the design of these products. It feels very luxury with it's weight and the gold design. The nail polish Babor Ultra Performance nail color in 42 just red is a very beautiful deep red. The first photo of just the bottle is showing the color most accurate. The swatches looks a bit more Christmas red then it actually is but my camera wasn't on my side when trying to capture the color of this one.

Babor Cozy Colours Face and eye collection is a really nice palette which contains six eyeshadows and one creme blush. The colors might not be very exciting but they are great for everyday use. The dark blue on can be used to create a smokey look. I did a very simple eyemakeup here and let the lips be the focus. 

I like Babor Ultra soft lip colur in 41 cozy mauve. It has a nice creamy formula and good pigmentation. I also like the color very much. 

Babor Ultra size mascara volume & definition in 03 blue metallic is a shimmering midnight blue mascara that I was really excited to try. It looks very dark blue on, almost black, but up close you can see that it's actually dark blue.

 Nu börjar höstkollektionerna ramla in i butikerna. Jag gläds alltid lite extra i början av varje ny säsong då de nya makeup lookerna dyker up. Ny säsong, ny start, ny makeup. Höstens makeup looker är dessutom ofta väldigt klassiska och vackra vilket jag gillar. Denna look från Babor är skapad av deras make up director Peter Scmidinger som inspirerats av kontrasternas värld. Produkterna går att använda till att skapa en look med sotade ögon och nudeläppar som passar perfekt till hösten och vinterns fester. Det går dessutom alldeles utmärkt att använda produkterna i denna look för att skapa en enklare vardagsmakeup perfekt för en dag på kontoret. En vacker och klassisk höst/vinterlook som jag verkligen gillar.

 The fall and winter makeup collections are starting to find their way to the stores now. I'm always happy when the new seasons starts and the new collections find their ways to the stores. New season, new start. And new makeup. The fall collections are often a bit more classy and elegant which I like. This look from Babor is created by their make up director Peter Scmidinger that has taken inspiration from the world of contrast. The products can be used to create a makeup look with smokey eyes and nude lips that works perfect for the fall and winter parties as well as a more natural eye makeup that together with a nude lip will be perfect for daytime. An elegant and classic fall/winter look that I really like.
