Christmas manicure with Ciaté

Ciaté skickade hem några lack till mig för ett tag sedan så till fjärde advent passade jag på att göra en enkel julmanikyr med Ciatés Boudoir. På accéntnageln använde jag mig av Ciaté caviar pearls Christmas tree caviar och och klockorna är en nail water decal från Pueen.

Ciaté sent me some nail polishes a while ago so I used Ciaté Boudoir to create a Christmas inspired manicure for the fourth Sunday of Advent. On the accént nail I used Ciaté caviar pearls Christmas tree caviar and the the Christmas bells is a nail water decal from Pueen.

Lansering av Kardashian Beauty på Åhléns

I torsdags var det lansering av Kardashian Beauty (sminket) som började säljas på Åhléns i fredags. Kardashian beauty såldes dock i Sverige redan innan det på webshopparna eleven.se (delar av sortimentet) och brallis.se. Produkterna säljs även på t.ex. lookfantastic och feelunique som skickar till Sverige. I och med att produkterna nu mera säljs på Åhléns blir det i dock möjligt att titta närmare på produkterna innan man köper.

Produkterna från Kardashian beauty skulle jag säga riktar sig till en lite yngre publik. Priserna är bra. Förpackningarna känns lite plastiga. Det kan nog finnas en del guldkorn i kollektionen. Kardashian beauty double up eyeshadow (ögonskuggspennor med en färg i varje ände) såg väldigt fina och pigmenterade ut. Läppstiftspennorna skulle också kunna vara intressanta. Det finns ingen foundation i produktserien, men dock puder. Hoppades ni på ett contouringkit (vilket man kanske skulle kunna tro skulle finnas i Kardashian Beauty:s sortiment) så kommer ni inte att hitta något sådant. Det finns dock bronzing puder och highlighters i sortimentet.

Nagellacken från Kardashian beauty som jag redan testat förra sommaren (ni hittar inlägget här) antar jag dock kanske inte kommer att säljas på Åhléns för de fanns inte med i pressmaterialet jag fick med mig hem i torsdags. Hårprodukterna vet jag har annan distributör i Sverige och är lite svårare att hitta i butik.

Vad jag tycker om Kardashian Beauty Produkterna ska ni få veta när jag hunnit testa dem. 

This Thursday I visited the launch of Kardashian Beauty (the make up line) which Åhléns started selling this Friday. The Kardashian beauty products have been possible to purchase from the web shops eleven.se (part of the Kardashian beauty makeup line) and brallis.se. The products are also sold by lookfantastic and feelunique web shops that deliver to Sweden. But since Åhléns has started to sell the products in their shops it is now possible to take a closer look at the products before the purchase.

My opinion is that the products from Kardashian beauty targets a younger group of consumers. The prices are nice. The packages feels a bit plastic. It is possible that is a couple of gold nuggets hidden in the product line. Kardashian beauty double up eyeshadow ( an eyeshadow pen with different colors in both ends) looked really nice and pigmented. The lipstick pens could also be interesting. There isn't any foundation in the product line but it does have some powders. If you were looking forward to a contouring kit (which you might expect from the Kardashian Beauty product line) you will be disappointed. Bronzing powder and highlighters are a part of the production line though.

I suppose that the nail polish from Kardashian beauty which I tested last summer (you can find the post here) may not be sold by Åhléns because they were not mentioned in the press release I received this Thursday. I know that the hair products have a different distributor here in Sweden than the makeup products and that they are a little bit more difficult to find in a store here.

I will let you know what I think of the Kardashian Beauty products once I've tried them.

Box 7-13 of Lookfantastic's The Beauty Secret, Skincity's & Kicks beauty advent calendars

 In box 7 of my calendar from Skincity I found this Maria Åkerberg Papaya Peeling. I already had this one but haven't had time to try it yet. Hoping it's good.

 In box 7 of my calendar from Kicks I found this Kicks Skin treat pure natural organic shower oil with protecting olive oil, moisturizing brown sugar, coconut extract and vanilla. It sounds lovely so I can't wait to try this.

 Box 8 in The beauty Secret from Lookfantastic gave me this Bubble T hibiscus & acai berry tea restoring body lotion.

 In my calendar from Skincity box 8 contained this Biodroga MD hyaluron + DMC Moisture Perfect hydration 24h care.

 My Kicks calendar gave me these pretty pink hair elastics on December 8th.

 Behind door 9 of The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic I found the celebrated Cult51 cream. Can't wait to try this and see if it is as good as everyone say it is.

 Behind door 9 of my calendar was another great product. This Eve Lom Resque mask.

 The most boring item so far had to be this pink glitter paper nail file that I found behind door 9 of my calendar from Kicks. Although pretty, I don't use these kind of nail files.

 On December 10th I got this Nudestix lip + cheek pencil in the color Satan in The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic. I love the name and the color of this one.

 In the 10th box of my Skincity calendar I found an adorable little jar of By Terry's Baume de Rose.

 In my calendar from Kicks I found this mini bottle of Essie top coat in box 10. This will come to use for sure.

 Behind door 11 of The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic I found a pair of Eylure No 035 lengthening false eyelashes.

 And in my calendar from Skincity I found yet another great brand on December 11th. Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-repair Retionl Serum.

 And you know the saying that great minds think a like? Well at least Lookfantastic and Kicks where thinking a like for the 11th box of their calendars cause Kicks also had a pair of Eylure false eye lashes for me behind door 11. They had No 070 Volume though. Now I can choose if I want length or volume the next time I use false eye lashes. Which is almost never...

 On door 12 The Beauty Secret had another rhyme for me. This one read Behind this door lies a Christmas MIST-ry... Open up to unveil its rose-powered history.

 Behind the door I found this Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist.

 Behind door 12 of my Skincity calendar was a day cream from Elizabeth Areden Pro.

 And behind door 12 of my calendar from Kicks I found this Fudge Warm Mask. I'm not a big fan of masks that gets warm but I'm going to give this one a try at least.

 The Beauty Secret from Lookfantastic had yet another rhyme for me on December 13th. It said Find a secret all about "grape", by opening up this mystery drape.

 And inside I found this hand and nail cream from Caudalíe.

 My Skincity calendar contained a Decléor 3 min Life radiance mask in box 13th. This sounds perfect for me that's always looking for quick fixes. I'm so bad at taking my time and just relaxing and taking care of myself. There's just not enough time...

Lookfantastic and Kicks was thinking a bit a like again cause Kicks also had a hand cream for me on December 13th. This is Kicks Skintreat virgin olive oil hand cream with protecting olive oil that contains natural antioxidants and vitamins. 

Ännu en fantastisk vecka med massor med spännande produkter att testa. Jag är fortfarande väldigt nöjd med alla tre kalendrarna men Kicks ligger lite efter de andra två även denna vecka. Det var lite roligt att Lookfantastic och Kicks hade tänkt lika två av dagarna. Den 11 december väldigt lika dessutom. Handkrämerna den 13 december kom lägligt då jag precis hade använt upp den handkräm jag använde för tillfället (har iofs en hel låda med handkrämer som väntar på att provas så det är inte så att jag hade stått utan om jag inte hade fått dessa i kalendrarna). Använder Kicks handkräm just nu och den är faktiskt riktigt trevlig. 

Yet another fantastic week with lots of interesting products to try. I'm still very pleased with all three of the calendars but Kicks calendar is still a bit behind the other two calendars. It was a bit fun that Lookfantastic and Kicks was think a like for two boxes this week. On December 11th they where thinking very a like. The two hand creams that I received on December 13th was perfectly timed since I'd just used up the one I was using at the moment. Well it's not as I would have been totally out of hand cream if I hadn't gotten these. I have a box full of unused and untried hand creams but still nice timing. I'm using the Kicks hand cream right now and it's actually quite nice.

Tidigare i höst hade Glossybox en limited edition Sensai box. Jag har faktiskt inte testat något från Sensai än så jag passade på att klicka hem den här. Sensai är ju lite dyrare så jag tänkte att det här var det perfekta tillfället att få känna lite på produkterna och se om jag gillar dem utan att behöva spendera så mycket pengar.

Jag håller på att testa produkterna i boxen just nu och så här långt tycker jag att de känns riktigt trevliga men jag har bara använt dem någon dag så kan inte ge något riktigt utlåtande om dem eftersom det tar tid innan en ny hudvårdsrutin ger resultat. Första intrycket av dessa produkter är i alla fall postivt. Parfymen luktar i alla fall otroligt gott. Jag gillar normalt sett väldigt lätta och fräscha dofter. Den här är mer varm och feminin men inte för övervälmande.

Så här beskrives Sensai The Silk hos eleven.se

Sensai The Silk Eau de Parfum öppnar upp med fräscha noter av päron, bergamott, rosépeppar och violblad som sedan övergår i ett blommigt, feminint hjärta av pion, liljekonvalj, babyorkidé samt ambra som framhäver varje aromatisk doftnot till en harmoni som sedan omfamnar huden likt en silkesslöja. Doften landar sedan mjukt i en varm, sensuell bas av mysk och tonkabönor.

Earlier this fall Glossybox Sweden had a limited edtion Sensai box. I actually haven't tried anything from Sensai yet so I took the chance and bought this box. Sensai is a bit on the expensive side so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try some of their products and see if I like them without having to spend so much money.

 I'm trying out the products right now and so far I really like them. I've only used them for a couple of days though so of course I can't give any final opinion about them since it takes time for a new skincare routine to give result. My first impression of the products is at least good. The perfume has a lovely scent though. I personally usually falls for very light and fresh scents this is a more warm and feminine scent. It's not to overwhelming though.

Fragrantica describes Sensai The Silk like this;

Inspiration behind this perfume is the key ingredient of the brand - Khoishimaru silk. The scent represents a silk veil that emphasizes women's beauty and character. Its fresh oriental composition is a combination of fruity notes, white flowers, amber, tonka bean and musk. It is signed by perfumer Marie Salamgne. Top notes include bergamot accords, pink pepper, pear and violet leaf. Veil around its heart includes notes of peony, lily of the valley, Sharry Baby orchid and amber. The base captures warm accords of tonka bean and musk.
The Silk Eau de Parfum version is lush, sophisticated and sensual, with prominent amber character.

CND:s vinterkollektion innehåller fyra lack: Nordic Light, Winter Glow, Glacial Mist och Tundra. Alla fyra lacken finns både som Shellac (salong) och Vinylux (hemmabruk). Jag fick hem det blekrosa Winter Glow och det ljust blå silverglittriga Glacial Mist i ett pressutskick för ett tag sedan. 

Jag gillar verkligen CND Vinylux Weekly Polish eftersom de inte slits så snabbt. Dessutom är de väldigt trevliga att jobba med. 

Jag gillade både Winter Glow och Glacial Mist som jag fick hem. Glacial Mist skulle jag säga är det mest vintriga i Aurora kollektionen. Det lacket får mig att tänka på Elsa i Frozen.

En behandling med CND Shellac kostar från 300 kr på salong och Vinylux lacken kostar 135 kr och kan hittas på bl.a. eleven.se. Aurora kollektionen finns ute i butik nu.

CND's Winter collection 2015 is called Aurora collection and contains four shades: Nordic Light, Winter Glow, Glacial Mist and Tundra. All four comes in both shellac (salon product) and Vinylux for consumers. I got the pale pink Winter Glow and the light blue with silver glitter Glacial Mist with a pressrealse for the collection a while back. 

I really like CND Vinylux Weekly Polish. They doesn't wear off that fast and they have a nice formula that's great to work with. 

I like both Winter Glow and Glacial Mist that I received. For me Glacial Mist is the most wintery shade in this collection. It reminds me of Elsa in Frozen.
